Could not agree more, love how well the hockey program is progressing. If they keep playing like this there will be a gold medal or world championship win very soon. I can't wait for the day Canada faces Latvia in the final, win or lose (for Canada) it will be an awesome game

@@3333bongman I can't wait for that one! I will be happy to see Latvia my home land face off against Canada again! That will be an intense match i can tell. I actually cheered for Canada when their team was against Norway in one if the hockey rings here in Latvia, sadly they lost, but i'm sure they will make it next time. But i'm proud of Latvia for making it this far, we won a game against the USA and Canada(i think) and many other countries. Let's see what happens next i guess on the ice next championship.

I keep re-watching it and tears come to my eyes, I can't believe we did it! I have been a fan since the day I was born basically and I always believed that this day would come! It just goes to prove - if you play with heart, miracles can happen and I think Latvia proved it. You can put all kinds of stars and talent against, but if you truly play your heart out 100%, you will succeed! Long live Latvia, Dievs svētī Latviju, urrā!!!!!

I was watching this live on tv and also having the Arena Riga outside my window and listening to the people watching it on the big screen outside, was just so much emotion when they won each of their games and the whole of Latvia celebrating when they got their 3 placement. I can't wait for future games to continue to hear & feel the passion for their national team.

it was a fairy tale. i always watch all games. i cant describe in words,what our guys showed this year. half of team had traumas,saving the goalkeeper. that was just beautiful...i believe we can go higher in future. with team we had this year. they are not the best. but they are not saving themselves for victory. they give it all. that is why we cherish them the loudest. WE ARE the best fans. and that keeps going our guys. ODDS mean nothing when we have team like this,and fans like that.

Cant believe that latvians managed to do it. Everyone thought that latvia is a bad team, but we proved them wrong. Great season for latvians, hope to see this happen in may.

No disrespect to the other countries, but we truly deserved it. This has been a great year for latvian sports, fortunately for others, FIBA didn't took place in Europe. With respect to other fans-thank you!

How many peoples have LV and GER? How many money have Germany and LV? When you in country have just ~1500 players and show same results, then start to open mouth...if we compare how much money for one player have LV...its ~1000-2000 EUR, and Germany have ~10000-20000 feel diff.? No?
