I saw this when I was 5 years old in 1997 and was literally the happiest kid in the world. My eyes couldn't have gotten any bigger when he came out on the stage. At the very end he patted me on the head and my whole year was made. Barney will forever be my hero!

I was 2 years old in 1999 but sadly I didn’t like it possibly because I hated it so I didn’t come back to this show ever again but as of now the show is gone completely

It's kinda said to think about. The ones who was born before the 2010s really experienced when everything was exciting. We had the nick studio with the slime. Barney. So many other things. But now all is takin away. What will the kids go to see now? Why is there no more excitement like there was back then? Everything was bright and colorful.

Can I just say I saw Barney walking around when I went to universal in January 2018. It was awesome! He waved at me and my little kid heart grew three sizes.

as i childhood fan of barney, i think it was really cool to see these characters represented in this way, until it was closed i was unaware this attraction ever existed so i only get to experience it through videos like this one. five year old me is screaming inside watching this video. thank you for sharing

I’m all grown up now but it’s sad to see this attraction go. I have fond memories of this show from when I was tiny. At least the dinosaurs at Islands of Adventure are sticking around.

Three PBS Kids attractions at Universal Orlando Resort: Cat in the Hat Barney Curious George EDIT: We’re only down to one. And I did come to terms Cat in the Hat isn’t much PBS, it’s mostly Dr Seuss. It must’ve been a partnership.

This show is never coming back, it’s permanently closed and Barney BJ and Baby Bop stopped greeting guests in early 2021

He's still really wholesome. I heard a story about a visiting family telling him about one of their children passing (who was obsessed with Barney) so he gave them a free balloon. Then as they exited DITPWB they released it to their child in heaven. What a legend he is.

Universal Studios should make a Barney ride called Barney's 4D Adventure: an adventure around the forest it features water when it's raining in the forest it sprays water on your head and when its windy the wind will come on it's going to be something similar to sesame street 4d

Because it needs to be more popular for Mattel to do a contract with Universal Parks, maybe if the new movie and the new Barney and Friends are very successful, they can do an activities or something, but everything depends on the contract and how people react to the project.
