Predator Inspections is a new aerial inspection firm specializing in very high-end enterprise-class drone work in southeast Saskatchewan. They have a number of specialized sensors that allow for methane gas leak detection, visual inspection, thermal inspection, 2D mapping and 3D modelling and multispectral analysis of crops. There are numerous applications in oil and gas, environmental, agricultural, power generation and transmission, municipal sectors.
Proprietor Rod Cullen is the first currently working coal miner to successfully secure coal transition funding to assist in launching this venture. The funding originated from the Province of Saskatchewan and was administered by the City of Estevan and Southeast Saskatchewan Economic Partnership.
When he's not flying, Cullen operates massive dozers and draglines at Estevan area coal mines.
