Launchpad Mini/Mk2 Project File Setup Tutorial

Here's the long promised tutorial that I've been saying that I'd do since January.... Well it's the end of June but the Summer holidays just started and I had a lot more free time so I got around doing the damn thing.
Non the less here's the video fixing the common issues with most of the Launchpad Project files

Someone gave me a launchpad mini and I swear it’s so damn confusing… I have dj’d for years and programmed music for a long time but…. This little thing is an asshole. Thanks for turning a bad day into a good day!

Yeah, I was very frustrated when I couldn't find any complete tutorial for this issue, so I combined 10+ tutorials and made one myself, and Np! ^^

3:16 a better tip is to just press the top and bottom, it works just the same and whole lot easier 😏

I'm really confused, for the whole duration from when I open up Ableton to having completed all the steps, I only have the arrows at the top of my launchpad lit up and I can't hit user 1 or anything to play.

I have a launchpad pro and the lights are the right color (I am on channel 6 and I tried it on all channels). For example, I tried dot let me down by the chainsmokers and one button is supposed to be red but every time I click it, it changes colors.

OMG thank you! Thanks to this video I was able to get some sound out of it haha I didn't manage to do that before! The only thing is that there is no light when I press the buttons to make music and the right button at the bottom doesn't do anything. Do you know what I should do different? xx

for the life of me i cant get my launch pad mk2 to work properly. ive loaded all the steps you see in this video and tried a million other methods just dont work. are the volume pan send A send B step mute solo and record arm suppose to trigger samples? cause right now they do.

Yeah I plug my launchpad mini mk2 in my windows 10 laptop and it lit up twice and then stopped and nothing happened since

okay nevermind, they are working, the keys are jst in the complete wrong place, your left bottom sound is bound to my 3 from left 4 from right button

This Setup to me was the best ever, easy to do and understand, thank you Orphynex, your video was perfect. Although, I do have one slight little problem. Everything works fine on the first Profile. But on the other ones, There's the correct sound on each pad but they dont make any lights appear. Any Help...? :0
