15:23 bro the thing is that every single furia player, and even the coach, seems to not have any pain after losses and eliminations. Im brazilian, so I watch a lot of elimination interview from the players and they all just say the same things like "thats the competition, we still have another tournament to play next week, you cant win everything" but fallen just speaks it almost perfectly, because the guy knows how to speech, so it seems that he's not shaken up.

The Brazilian scene is in a perfect position to have great teams once again. They have a MASSIVE population that loves counter strike, they have the history of S tier major winners, and they also have a massive audience that will gather hundreds of thousands of viewers for mediocre tier 2 teams. It is one of the world's greatest mysteries how this region has not lifted a single S tier trophy since 2017
@rigoti3 ай бұрын
It's the same thing that keeps NA and SA lower than EU, not having an actual academy system, instead tier 1 relies on lackluster ex-tier1 or underdeveloped tier2/tier3 to fill gaps. EG was the prime example of that
@Dio_Scuro3 ай бұрын
Imo, as a Brazilian, we don't have so many talents and players capable of competing in Tier 1. We lack Awpers and IGLs; anchors are also lacking, but riflers playing star roles? This we have a lot.
@baitreview3 ай бұрын
@@rigoti The difference is that CSGO was never as mainstream in the US as it was in the EU. Most young people here gravitated towards whatever new shiny game there was. CS in Brazil and the EU is more popular amongst younger people. But I agree, the academy system in Brazil is absolutely horrendous.
@baitreview3 ай бұрын
@@Dio_Scuro I feel like it's mostly a lack of good leadership. The Post Astralis era proves that you don't need a roster full of stars to win tournaments. I think it's more of a coaching problem than an IGL. In EU, a lot of the older players step down to become coaches like Exist and NEO. I feel like the Brazilian scene would benefit from that. You can't really have great IGLs without great coaches. gla1ve wouldn't be as successful without zonic This trend of bad coaching might have started with SK themselves, who didn't have a coach at all during 2017.

I find it hard to believe the players dont got it anymore. But peoples motivations change, maybe their too comfy and just stopped practising as much. Sometimes you take a month break and come back and play the best you ever played. Giving the brain some time to digest somehow you internalize more stuff sometimes and it can help. Norb7rt being the most recent notable example of this

I am Brazilian and started watching CS around the end of 2019. After that MIBR vs Furia tech incident in 2020, I was 100% sure I was a fan of Furia players and the org, as they seemed to be SO much more mature than the old school guys. Back then, in my perspective, one side was about silence and hard work, and the other side was about strong nostalgia and drama (e.g. "chaos guys are cheating"). Your video brought me back to so many nice memories and even if arT is living a rough period, he was extremely impactful in this game. In retrospect, I was in peace thinking that HEN1 left Furia to be with his brother, but RIGHT NOW I AM PISSED. Furia had good performances with drop + saffee, I think this was a good lineup and arT also pointed that out in his stream. Rio 2022 made me believe everything was possible, and gave me my best CS memories 🥲 I will always be thankful to these guys for giving it all back then. In 2022 I could also make "peace" with the older generation, as I could see just how much they care and how they evolved (in my view, they became less egoistic and more careful with their fanbase power). It was insane to watch all the 5 guys from SK/Luminosity making it to the Rio major, many happy tears LOL. Pure art, thanks for this content!

As a brazilian I do agree. In my opinion it was time to art, chelo and guerri to get out and FalleN to go coaching for then they get biguzera plus two talented kids. Instead they opted for a guy that says we shouldn't expect FURIA to win any game (yes, FalleN really said that in an interview). To be honest, I do not see FURIA winning anything for years to come
@baitreview3 ай бұрын
I think a lot of these washed up Brazilian legends should go into coaching. I don't know why they insist on rotting away in tier 2 teams for the rest of their lives. Can you imagine fallen coaching for Furia with a guy like biguzera leading the team. He is taking away a spot that could be taken up by new talent

imo brazil has always had the potential to be the perfect region for us racists , the region has proved over the years that they definitely have the individual talents for each role but somehow they just can't seem to put it together in a god roster ,importing players and losing comms feels a bad move for that region.

arT Furia missed its prime, the pressure to get results fell on saffe, drop, then onto arT himself and guerri. Getting FalleN to IGL without removing arT led to awkward situations, with arT and Fallen changing roles constantly I think the changes are coming for good, arT will be able to do his thing with other players and hopefully more freedom and FalleN will be free to do his thing with some of br best players, he just need consistency and maybe he can achieve good results like Imperial vs Vitality
