"There's my cassette tape boxers, ladies calm down " Who knew I would find humor in a laundry pod review . Thank you for making me smile.

I use the Nina Soft to spin dry my laundry after hand washing. The Nina Soft works really well. I've had mine for about six months and it is a life saver. It gets the clothes fairly dry. It takes about three or four hours for them to dry on a fold out dryer. Jeans take longer. I live in a humid climate. Maybe they dry faster in dry climates. You have to make sure your loads are well balanced. I put them in one item at a time and flatten them against the inside of the basket. They are slightly stretched out with a "donut hole" in the middle of the load. It is a lot better than wringing clothes out by hand! Also, I forgot to put the pink plastic guard in before too, but I read that you need to use it or small items like socks can get sucked up and into the liner and break the Nina Soft.

Very clear and thorough review. Why not dump everything into the sink for rinsing? Using the pod for rinsing looks tedious. And since you don't mind using electricity, there are plenty of less laborious automatic alternatives for washing small loads of clothes. BTW, so refreshing to see a KZfaq video with a clean house in the background.

I was curious to see how this works. It's like a salad spinner. I bought the Wonder Wash from Laundry Alternative. Recommended wash time is 2 minutes; rinse time is 30 seconds. I also got the Nina Soft Spin. I'm very satisfied with both machines. Having a nonelectric washer comes in handy when there's no power. It's also a great "take along" item when you're going camping. You can always hang the clothes to dry if you're in an AV or use a dryer if you have one. At any rate, the spinner uses a lot less electricity, and it uses NO heat. It just spins out the water!

When I was a kid, I'd get excited when I knew we were having salad because the lettuce dryer was so much fun to use. I wonder if I'd feel the same excitement for laundry if I bought this? Was considering buying it to teach my kids a lesson in wastefulness (they change their clothes several times a day with no regard as to what happens after they throw them in hampers) and was wondering if it was tough to turn as you make it look quite effortless.

to those that say it's too much work ..... we has a blackout.... from thunderstorms.... no big deal around here....happens a lot. few hours abs power comes back on. during one of them....a train ran into a transformer.... power was out for a few days. of you wear uniforms or work at a hospital.... you scrubs still have to be clean regardless. this is a hood emergency option.

It's easier to just use a plain old bucket and use a plunger with holes in it to swish them around. Set the bucket in the tub swish the clothes around for about 5 minutes then empty the water right in the tub and refill with cold rinse water and repeat. After that, just ring them out and hang to dry. Easy as one two three

You can buy the commercial 5 gallon salad spinner. Made just like the Laundry Pod. I put my rinse water in the sink so I don't have drain the water with detergent every time. I've been using my setup 8 years and love it.

For all those who call it a salad spinner guess what the ideal came exactly from that I'm in the dry cleaning business and I was told by many women they used it for very delicate clothes so someone had to see it and saw a great ideal

So did the extractor as well I've used huge ones as big as cars to extract tons of shirts

Looks like the basket very likely spins faster than the clothes (and the water of course). The inside of the basket has little ridges that agitate the clothes. That would also explain the resistance you get turning it and the suds you get on top of the clothes. It would be easier to just dump the pod rather than drain it.

I saw this on HSN on youtube and it looks pretty sweet. I am definitely looking at a few of these. Thanks for the review. Also that Nina Soft Spin Dryer does that use a lot of electricity?

I take the spinner out, let my laundry soak 5mins, then add spinner back and spin for about a minute. Then drain, refill spin for 2mins, drain and let air dry. Thanks about the oil, I was wondering about the plastic shaving!
@veganvocalist47822 жыл бұрын
yea its expensive considering its just a bucket with not many complicated moving parts and made with none recycled cheap plastic . I would be more inclined to just soaking cloths in a large bucket and using a simple plunger then just using that nice spinner you have , thank you for the video ;D))) NIIIICE BOXERS

Could you do an agitating motion (spin partially in one direction and immediately in other)? Would that work?, or work better?

Yes it would work better and you can do that

I would hate to state the obvious, but why not put a drainage valve on the washer. That way you can use it to spin dry your clothes also. Hmmm....
@nmindergh29768 жыл бұрын
pretty much looks like giant salad spinner . How does it do towels ?
@kathyjarvis81916 жыл бұрын
I'm not convinced. Maybe for a single person, but for a family with lots of laundry, I don't think so
@MegOfBroccoli5 жыл бұрын
Or if you have a few things to handwash. I've been wearing the same dress every day for four months (voluntarily LOL), but I wash it in a basin several nights a week and in the washer once a week. But I can see this thing being used to "hand wash" several items if you don't have a dry bag.

***** The pod still spinning strong. I've noticed it's better for lighter, smaller fabric material. Not really ideal for jean or other thick material. I use it often for my work out clothes.
@will48639 жыл бұрын
Just to help you out you might want to know a few tips. Dark clothes should be washed in cold water and inside out so they don't fade. Never wash white clothes with dark because they will turn gray & dingy. Whites should be washed in hot water with a color safe bleach... If possible, purchase a water softner to help clean your clothes as well. Good luck...

+Pamela Will wow your a laundry exspert i just trow everything in at once cuz im lazzy and i like my jeans faded and i have no white clothes so everything works out for me i put on hottest setting becouse i like how it cleans with hot water even for rinse hot water just my preference tho whatever works 4 u is what i always say

These are a waste. For a few dollars more you can get the Heir 1 cubic washer portable on wheels 17X17X28 it spins the clothes then you hang to dry (and takes up the same room as both these units)
