don corbly I am an 85-year-old great-grandfather in Oklahoma, USA. I greatly appreciate very good opera singers and when I learned of Laura Bretan in AGT I was elated! She has the best soprano voice I have ever heard, even after having listened to Maria Callas for many years. We here in America recognize her as the truest opera soprano of our times. She is all the more endearing in that she was raised by nurturing parents who gave her a sound religious upbringing. Her mother taught her how to sing in their church. That she has a well-grounded faith in God makes her very appealing to us. She is a regular teenager in her school just like any American girl. But to know that she is an Romanian-American makes her special to us. It is amazing that she speaks Romanian so well! She is so talented! Romania and America is very proud of Laura!

Just so sad to see all those jealous choir singers sitting without a smile on one face. I would not be able to stop smiling or the tears from running down my face. She is so amazing. I became a fan of her music after her nessun dorma performance. I was surprised to see all of these snobbish classical music experts writing articles and telling people she wasn't a "real opera singer" and being highly judgemental. I'm a long-time opera fan and I think her music is absolutely beautiful.

So facially expressive, your body language shows how deeply you get into every bar. Never lose or change your style; that’s why we all watch you. And that voice! Maria Callas shrinks in comparison. Its remarkable how closely you and your sister look alike and both mirror your mother. The three of you are completely beautiful. It’s true what is said about beautiful Romanian women! Laura, make albums. Yours is the most perfect soprano voice I have ever heard. Thank God that he created you! I only have this to ask. Please honor and remember your Romanian heritage. Your earliest videos show your beautiful long black hair that complements your complexion perfectly. (But I saw one video with your hair dyed red---absolutely awful.) God gave you the best body you will ever have--don't ruin it with experiments! Stay the Laura that we all found and love. You need a manager or a better one if you already have one. You aren’t getting enough exposure. You should be having concerts, Christmas specials, etc. Stay away from Amazon: it takes half of all earnings on books plus an additional “administrative” fee (when I discovered that I withdrew all my books from them). Set up your own website and sell albums, DVD, and Laura “items.” You’ve got a lot of people watching you. Your earnings don’t come even close to your talent. Talk to some other professional singers; see who they recommend.
