I love that Laura Dern refers to the Triceratops as "she" and speaks about her in such a personal way. She is the perfect actress to play this role because feels empathy for the dinosaurs and this is exactly why we love this character so much.

Jurassic Park is part of my childhood. Anyone who saw it in 1993 like myself (5 years old), those of us can say the Triceratops scene holds a special place in our hearts. To a 5 year old, the moment we see the Triceratops, it was like magic being presented right in front of us. That scene and movie was such a beautiful and surreal experience. It's one of the first movies I could describe my childhood, and its one of the reasons why I love cinema. I'm almost 34 years old, and Jurassic Park is still one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

I remember getting to see the screen used triceratops from JP in an exhibition. It was in rough shape.
