Laura Harmon, MD, FACS is the Trauma Medical Director & Chair of the Department of Surgery at Boulder Community Health. Not only does Dr. Harmon bring academic expertise to our community hospital, but a passion for trauma-informed care that benefits both patients and staff alike. With a host of new programs such as the Trauma Survivors Network, Laura Harmon has brought a new level of compassion and resilience to our trauma services team. We are proud to share that Dr. Harmon has been nationally recognized by the Schwartz Center as a 2023 National Compassion Caregiver of the Year.
