I didn’t realize how much work goes into self-care for women, and I’m still learning! The furthest I got was realizing how using a hairdryer can literally dry my hair up, I spent so much time showering and lying down to let it dry for a bouncy faux hawk. You’re one of the voices of reason in my head, like Debra Jo Rupp, and I love your voice. I still clearly hear “Get bent!” Thank you so much =)

As a hairdresser, if you just blew your hair out quickly with the round brush or even took longer, you may not need a straightening out at all or you would only need it on the top and bottom layer at the most

When I curl my hair, I do it in layers as well. I also bring my curling iron with me when I travel.

I used to have long hair, but after I realized it was falling out faster than it was growing out I gave up and started cutting it as short as possible...
