Lauren might not be the first player that comes to mind when you mention of the Invicibles but he will always be in my heart. Classy defender, classy player, immense talent, great to watch. I will always remember watching Lauren storming down the right flank so effortlessley as a kid. Truly one of a kind. Thank you Lauren Etame Mayer for all the glories that you have brought us.

This guy was a fighter in the red and white. I loved his penalties. He never missed.

One of the best penalty taker, imo. However, transfermarkt says he missed once. Still great tho, my favorite penalty taker.

Lauren was absolute quality, good on the ball and didn’t mind getting stuck in where he needed to. Took no prisoners.

Lauren was a very good player. Even im Cameroun team. ACN 2000, 2002 and sydney 2000. We miss efficient player like that

Lauren was arguably our weakest link during our invicible season. He did his job and he did it well but he never stood out. I mainly remember him for his penalties. I knew I could rest easy when Henry stepped back and let Lauren do his thing from the penalty mark.
