Lauren Bacall...great actress, personality and human being....a proud Liberal Dem as well. She was a woman of real class and had great taste! Lauren had great taste in jewelry and in the 1970s/80s was a spokeswoman for Fortunoff's jewelry firm which has always had gorgeous jewelry. While being a spokeswoman for Fortunoff's she often modeled and wore their jewelry in their ads. I find those two journalists rude and impatient...let the woman representing the auction do her job and don't interrupt her and be so pushy! Think it was rather presumptuous for that woman to think she could just go ahead and wear Bacall's jewelry....imho, would have been nice if she had asked the curator if she could wear it!

They are absolutely horrible at their jobs. they are so unprofessional and he did a horrible job it was evident that he was being told what to say in an earpiece and she was very disrespectful with her possesions.

Appalling, unprofessional presenters. Not only have they done zero research on the great Lauren Bacall, they don't pay this curator the respect of listening to what she has to say. Then they won't be led by her but interrupt the flow when she's trying to speak, and as for that woman throwing Ms Bacall's necklace on and off like it was cheap tat - horrific! She is not fit to touch the possessions of this great star, let alone wear them. Lauren Bacall would be spinning in her grave to be disrespected by this pair of no-class clowns.
