Whoever is reading this, God’s thoughts for you are for good and not for evil. He says, “come to me, you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” He has not given up on you, He does not despise you, He is the one who sees and understands you best. He knows why you struggle, He wants to affirm His love over you until you are so confident in your identity as a child of God, you no longer feel drawn to the broken things to find comfort anymore. He wants to wash you and make you new, just believe He is truly as patient as His word declares Him to be, that His mercy endures forever, and that “a bruised reed He will not break,” as He brings forth justice because He is The Faithful One. My husband kept on listening to this song last year this time. A few weeks or days later our 1.5 year old son was diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive brain tumor quarter the size of his brain… it shook us to the core especially when the doctors called us after a failed op with a mass bleeding that they couldn’t do anything anymore… 5mins to live… I arose within and wrestled with the living Christ to display His power right now. We kept on speaking the Word over this little body. He made it through the night, the doctors couldn’t believe their eyes. God Almighty parted the Red Sea in front of our eyes! God spoke to us that His glory is going to be revealed… here we are after one year of much refinement… 10 months of intense chemo and now have started intense radiation to “medically stabilize the remaining tumors”… even tough we are going through all the natural procedures our hope and faith is not in medicine… but in the Living God who will still part the Jordan to enter into the Promised Land of Divine Health and Healing!!! We pray salvation to everyone that has been involved in the process and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit to the glory of the beautiful Son of God Jesus Christ!!!

Have you ever felt so depressed and sad , that all you do is cry all the time that sometimes you cant even cry because your very heart and soul feel so dump to the pain. Have you ver felt like your life was a joke and everyone is there so laugh . Have you ever felt like drowning so deep into the unknown waters never to be found again. That is a spiritual battle. Bind the spirit of depression and loose the spirit of peace over yourself instead. Then say whatever's bound on earth is bound in heaven and whatever is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven.then ask God to intervene because you came against the spirit of depression. And repent of aligning with the spirit of depression.(Do this first)

I sent this to my best friend before she died... We only knew she had stomach cancer. She hadn't told many. Tina didn't have a close relationship with God, but I talked about my faith and I hoped to help her with hers. I sent this to her when she was sick in the hospital. I lost my son 2 months ago to heroin. I have struggled so much with so many questions. When I heard this song it touched me so deeply because this is exactly how I have felt. I've just needed God to hold onto me because I'm barely breathing. Thank you Lauren.

I read this and couldn't not keep going .I'm so very sorry you lost your son to the (devil) as I call the H word .I am a ex H addict I have 5 months again yesterday for the 10th time ..But I hope I can make your heart feel a little better.. I can explain to try to put your heart at peace a LITTLE..I have used with all walks of life and all races !! It does not matter how we are raised it just takes one time to find something that takes literally everything away .meaning life..Im sure you feel like you could of or would of fixed it because of you being a wonderful mother I'm sure you are.But I want you to know when using we are careless about anybody anything besides the h ..And the only person who controls stop using is yourself ..It took me 28 years to finally stop using and it is a struggle everyday to stay clean I am a mother of 3 and that didn't even keep me from using so I understand. .There is groups out there of other mothers like you that my mother went too and it helped her alot ...bless your soul I hope I could ease your mind maybe a little bit all I wanted ..bless your soul ..

My heart and prayers go out too you!I lost my Son ..2019 just before thanks giving.County fatally shot him .I lost my Daughter 17 years ago ...she was a passenger on a motor cycle! I have My Baby Girl and Grandaughters today! I can say ...every tear that falls is healing...and YES LET THEM FALL ON ALMIGHTIES SHOULDERS AS HE HOLD YOU!!! Time is a friend and God is My Husband! I was home schooled. It was such a tough time for me. I felt so isolated and alone. Know jesus is with you. From my own experience anixity really affected me and getting back into a schooling system was so hard... Know he is with you always. He loves you beyond messure.

My 11 year old was bullied horrendously in school and was attacked by several children as a teacher watched and did nothing. I gave up work and home schooled him for nearly a year and God finally answered my prayers and he’s now no longer suicidal and loves his new school that takes care of him and all his medical needs. My sister passed away on November 2,2021 and she had sent me this song in a message. I didn’t see it until the morning after she passed and it was like she was telling me to hold on to her. She had brain cancer and I was with her every day for 16 months. I took care of her in all aspects and was right there with her when she took her last breath. I held on to her as she fought her last battle and Jesus took her home. Thank you for this beautiful song

I love that God placed this song and those words in front of your beautiful eyes. Often times, He allows is to get to the point that we want to give up and quit, so that we can reach out for help to Him. I've been there so many times and truly do understand that place of almost losing hope. However, you are NOT alone ever. He is always with you holding you in His hands! He sends angels into our lives to help us along the ways. Please don't give in, up or quit on yourself! You have a purpose and a beautiful future ahead of this storm. I'm 23 years old, living with Hydrocephalus; a build up of cerebral spinal fluid on the brain. Since the age of 2, I've had roughly 100 brain surgeries, and over 100 surgeries in total. I am struggling right now. My daughter has attempted suicide twice, my father recently passed, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and we had to call an ambulance last night because she was having trouble breathing, she's still in the hospital. My wife left me and my daughter for another man, I'm a single father trying to raise my daughter all alone. This song sings to my soul right now. I pray to God to hold on to me every day, every minute of every day. Thank you Lauren for this song. Your powerful, beautiful voice pierces my very being. Some people are commenting that there is no mention of Jesus. The song is a prayer... when I fall short, hold on to me... when I am weak, hold on to me... when I am in the darkness, hold on to me... when I hit the end, hold on to me. It's the kind of prayer that somebody in the world would pray, when they finally want to call out on God. This song points the way. When I listen with my spirit, the Presence and Anointing is evident. I can celebrate her song because God is using it. We need to be very careful that we are not so judgmental that we miss the "treats" that Jesus has placed all around us. God Bless, and enjoy!

Next Generation, Father sees your hearts. The key that helped me is to forgive and ask God to help you be the person He wants you to be and your wife too. Surrender to Jesus. I believe in what you are saying, tomorrow isn't promised, and the weight of our sins is more than we mend alone. Yet, I want to go in deeper: I want us to love Jesus, not just because tomorrow isn't guaranteed, nor just for the fear of eternal death. No. There is daily death that needs to be addressed. We are dying on the inside daily, moment by moment because it hurts like hell without the One Who loves "me" the most. No matter who this "me" is that's reading this right now, God designed this as a personal message for you. Hold onto Me, Lord.

God is good and has a plan and purpose for good for your life. God has a level of blessing in mind for you that your natural eye can't see nor your natural mind can comprehend. And when you pray, he reveals things to you by his Spirit. When that happens, your faith grows and you're able to receive what God wants you to have. So develop a lifestyle of prayer - praying all the time, everywhere you go, in the midst of your daily routine. 'Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you' (1 Peter 5:7 NKJV). God cares about every detail of your life. So when you become anxious about something, talk to him about it. And don't forget to read his Word. That way when a problem comes up you can say, 'Father, you said in your Word you would do this for me,' then quote the promise and stand on it. Blessings to you in Jesus precious name. 🙏🙏🙏😀😀😀

Hi there, If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Infact, sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments in the new heavens and the new earth including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per: Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV). Hebrews 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV) The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός' (Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people. I am not going to force you to keep Shabbat holy (i would encourage to do a study on this matter) but if you end up coming short in the end, remember that the LORD did reach out to you using me. Heb 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (KJV). I digress. * Food shortage will lead to a civil war in America. * Climate change will lead to Sun-day laws. GOD Bless 💙💙💙

my husband is incarcerated....When He called last I played this song for him, afterwards I told him this song is me asking him to hold in to me. See even though he is incarcerated, it doesnt make who he IS, I met my husband five years ago, I was in a very dark place and was ready to let go. I wasnt looking for anyone, in fact i tried to push him away. He taught me my worth as a woman, to look people in the eyes when talking, and to hold my head up when I walk into a room. I have always believed in God and that how He sees His creation is Good and i believed that for everyone but myself. God Used my husband to reach my heart in places that I thought would never be alive again. God in turn used me to bring my husband to surrender His life to Jesus. Every tear that has fallen, every silent prayer, every moment of past abuse, guilt, shame and regret is all gone. My husband is a good and decent man, Like anyone made mistakes and choices that led him to where He is, most would judge him But whom umong us is without sin- I love you Marc forever and always and I thank God for you every minute of the day. This song is very special to me! My father was seriously ill with cancer. When he was feeling very bad, I went to see him. We both suspected that this would probably be the last time we would be able to speak to each other. We said goodbye to each other and I was very sad. As I drove home in the car, I was listening to music as usual, but my thoughts were still with my father. Suddenly the words of this song hit me right in the heart and even though I was driving through the night it was like daylight! I pulled over immediately, had to know what song that was. "Hold on to me when it's too dark to see you..." - I didn't know Lauren Daigle or this song until that day! It was incredible and I was very, very touched! Since then I've heard "Hold On To Me" hundreds of times and it still touches me every time! My dad passed away peacefully two days later. This song will forever remind me of my father!

God always holds on to us, and helps us hold onto ourselves. We are always worth it, and God reminds us of that. The best part about God is that He always has faith in us and never lets go. He doesn't even need to be asked to hold onto us, His beloved children, for whom His Son, Jesus, was willing to suffer and die for us. Though Jesus was without sin, he willingly died a sinner's death because of his love for us. That's truly amazing.
