To know God is to love him. It is so amazing for me to know someone like God, I go to him when I'm angry, I go to him when I'm sad, no matter what I'm feeling I go to him. Hey! I battled with anxiety and depression for almost my entire life, and just a little while ago, God had revealed to me what anxiety really is, and through turning to Christ and seeking His wisdom, I have never felt more at peace in my life. Usually when I am in a state of fear, it's because I'm trying to handle everything myself, but when I am at peace, it's because I rest in the simple assurance that God is in control, and He cares for me even more than I sometimes care about myself. I wrote down what God had graciously revealed to me, so that I could share it with others so that God can remove their anxiety and fears as He had done for me. "A few weeks back, I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression, and was persuaded to consult a psychiatrist, which would most likely result in relying on medication. Every part of me wanted to reduce my anxiety even just an ounce, because it ruthlessly murders your joy and peace, and it steals the pleasures given in our life because we are just in a constant state of overwhelming fear. As much as I was lured to destroy my anxiety at all cost, I still felt very uneasy in my Spirit. I felt the Spirit of God telling me in my heart that I will never find my rest or comfort in a pill, and like the song "On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand." In this case, the desire to seek refuge in a pill would only become sinking sand. I needed to find my peace and refuge in Jesus Christ and His steadfast love. If I truly placed my faith in Him, what reason have I to fear? Anxiety and fear isn't so much a disease, as it is doubt. It's a lack of faith in what God has promised to us and is piercing His divine nature. It is calling God, and what He has promised to His beloved Children a lie. Doubt is a very grievous sin in the eyes of God, but is so easily overlooked, either because we've just become so accustomed to stress and anxiety in our every day lives, to the point where we've become desensitized to the seriousness of it, or we've bought into the deception that it is merely a disease that cannot be overcome. I can say with certainty, that it is a lie straight from the pit of hell. These are not my own words, but the words of Christ Himself. Anxiety is a lack of faith in God. "Why are you afraid, O you of little faith? Matt 8:26." Anxiety is a sin, because "whatever does not proceed from faith is a sin. Rom 14:23." Can we honestly say that being anxious is having sincere faith in God and His love freely bestowed upon us, and His protection over us? If we have sincere faith, then why do we waste our life being so afraid over so many useless things? As I began to cling to Christ and seek Him for His wisdom, He led me to these two particular simple verses. "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and HE delivered me from all my FEARS. Psalm 34:4." And tonight, God spoke to my heart in a way I least expected. I attended a Bible study for a group of young girls, and even though the Bible was intended towards them, God brought this one particular verse to my heart. "Daughter, your FAITH has healed you. Go in PEACE. Luke 8:48." I praise God That He did not allow me to fulfill my desire, because He has revealed to me that I can search to the ends of all the earth, and can seek the Heavens, and I can even go before the glorious throne of God, but if I do not find my refuge in the solid rock of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of lords, who loved me and gave Himself for me unto death, then I will never truly find peace. My peace and security can only be found underneath the wings of my precious Savior, and only then will my anxiety and fears be utterly destroyed by dwelling in the shadow God Almighty."

none of us are worthy on our own account. it is only through Christ alone that we are seen as clean before a Holy God. I, too, am incredibly guilty and fell flat on my face. I struggle with the feelings you describe, but am speaking God's truth over my life and not allowing my emotions to dictate my life. If anything, it is through my hitting rock bottom that I understand the value of the Gospel message in a whole new way and with new depth and gratitude. My understanding of His grace, forgiveness, and mercy comes from painful experience. He is faithful to restore you. He makes the promise in Matthew that those who seek Him, will in fact find Him. What a blessing to have that promise!

I wanna let you know that no matter how far from God you have fallen He still loves you so come back to him- He will never reject you if you come with repented heart- The devil makes you believe that God doesn’t want you anymore because whatever you did is too bad for God to want you to back but the devil a liar - May The Lord Jesús rebuke him!! Jesus used her words, to talk to me. I'd been on drugs fifteen years. The devil don't have me captive anymore. Everyday I get up, and say this is another day clean. i have a problem with that too, at present I am reading the book of Joshua Harris titled "Not even a Hint; guarding your heart against lust" i highly recommend this book brother.
