This grief metaphor was deeply accurate. All you know is that you’re at beginning of the tunnel but have no idea where the middle and end of the tunnel is. You feel pain, fear, anxiousness, and exhaustion.

My family hasn’t passed but they are definitely gone and there’s nothing I can do about it and it’s so painful. It feels like a death but it’s not. I have no strength sometimes and I am holding onto God‘s presence in this short just captured my heart, and I just wanted to pray for anybody who felt the same way HANG IN THERE get up and seek God even when there’s no purpose try to find a purpose. My heart absolutely broke for her when I heard Nipsey was killed, I had the same question for her, like how did you hold it together. Through the funeral, through the trial, God had to be holding her, carrying her throughout.

My friend, Tracy gave me the best advice, Jenny don’t go into the tunnel and lay on the couch, please. I laid on the couch 1 day , then I got up. I didn’t want to but I did. I realize I had to fight for my life. It took over a year and Praise God he was right there by my side🙏🏿

I know exactly how she feels. I didn't care if I lived for a long time after my husband passed. But God kept me close, and is still keeping me. About a month after my loss I'll never forget when He came to me, called my name clear as day and hugged me so tight with an electrifying hug. At first I was thinking it was my husband because I longed for him, and he gave me big tight hugs but doesn't call me by my name (still don't know for sure but it was one who loves me). But he comes to visit with me often and I feel that same kind of heightened electrical energy and tickling feeling when he comes around.
