Not sure if it's the best way to describe it but I love how some of these shadows have like a reverse color shift rather than a forward shift. It's really cool to see.

I’m so very sorry about the loss of your Grandma. It’s very hard. Let all the memories come as they will. And I just adore the colors on your eyes. Hugs to you. My Grandma died about 14 years ago. I’m not over it but I learned how to keep her with me even though she’s gone. Praying for you and your fam

Those shadows are stunning. I probably only ever wear eyeshadow once or twice a year for special events, so I have no need for singles but these are so tempting!

I appreciate that you showcase a lot of Shine by SD shadows. I don't buy from them often, but when I do I get a sizable bundle of single shadows, but I love their products and appreciate their customer service. The formula is a bit dry but it's mostly consistent. Most shadows I get are not super flaky and have great adhesion to the skin. And they offer a lot of wonderful colors.

Thanks for the video!!! I really like to see swatches of these colors where the edges are less pronounced and more faded so we can get an idea of if this could be used as a one shadow look, how much can it be blended before it’s just gray etc

purple rain looks just like painted lady from looxi! its my favorite eyeshadow! i will say that the looxi one seems to go a bit more dynamic/deeper and maybe has more of a goldish gleam to it but still so close!

I started watching this video, then after you finished showing off the very first one, I realized I've got to save it! I was just like "this is gonna be some good asmr isn't it?" Idk but I’ve started this video every night since you’ve uploaded it. I fall sleep ten min in every time! This is my billionth attempt. But, I’ve been rewatching all your videos along with Beauty and the Frizz, Gelbeauty87 for the comfort. My mum passed and it was sudden but of undiagnosed cancer. Gorgeous shadows!! I personally like having both types of swatches -- they catch different shifts, so having just one or the other feels like missing out on some of the experience.

Edit- this is my favorite eye look I've ever seen, like, in general. Ever. Palm angel on the outer eye and the yellow under the light wing?? Get out. I'm going to recreate this 100% I'm not even done with the jeweled multichromes but they look so different texturally than any other ones I have seen! And I'm into it! I never realized that what was putting me off about other ones was the powdery-ness that I've seen. Plus the colors look so vibrant! I never thought I'd pick up any jeweled type multichromes but I'm planning on ordering from shine in the fall and might slip a few in. Lauren is the queen of swatches imo!

Unrelated but I would love a video about similar shades from different brands. For example shades similar to Purple rain (like JD glow anomaly) and it could be grouped by colour (Beige/neutral shades, purples, greens, blues etc)

I just had to comment - I always feel like you do such a fantastic job with swatches! Honestly I still refer to your older videos when I'm considering making a purchase from clionadh or any other brand you've swatched.. The fact you get really close up and you compare shades next to each other is super helpful. I think both your live swatches and the inserted ones have merit, they give a different perspective to each shade so I would love it if you could keep doing both. If it's too much then whatever you choose should be enough - you're doing great either way! Thank you :)

Hidden gems is so much more interesting to me. The first collection yeah they’re pretty but those colors overwhelmed my face. I don’t care about shifts. The second collection is more my speed I like glittery shadows. Not chunks of glitter but the shadows I have those metallic mica sparkles in them❤❤❤

You can see the shifts better with the straight on view. I think you should do whichever is most true to life. Not just whatever way makes the shadows look better if that makes sense.
