Im honestly just guessing here.... assuming that Laurent started dancing first, and Larry being the younger and more competitive brother.... He wouldnt let Laurent be better than him in anything when they were young. (I say this because Larry is more of a battle dancer than laurent, still assuming 😁) in turn, they both become great by constantly battling each other growing up. My guess.

I was scrolling the comments hoping to find an answer. im guessing either a birthday gift, a big fan or possibly used to be a dancer and now unfortunately has impaired movement. hopefully someone can give clear answer and that is very sweet of him.

It was her first time making it to one of their workshops, and Lau is her favorite of the two. She says that Laurent's time being hurt and in a wheelchair himself, and his journey to recover from his injury inspired her to work harder to try to walk again (although hers is a degenerative disease, not merely an injury). Laurent, finally meeting her, did a special freestyle for her. The story within the freestyle is easy enough to comprehend if paying attention. It was a beautiful and inspired freestyle, showing not only his insane artistry, but his compassion.

They need to walk in humble they are too prideful one day someone will be better than them but i appreciate their dance forms fantastic dancers they have talent and are gifted but they need to flow in humbleness truly they are too cocky!
