if you want to know how click read more he has the balls tucked into the folds of the umbrella. For the second umbrella, you can see when he takes off his jacket that it's stuck to the inside. When he turned his iPod into a cassette tape it was just a simple flip where the iPod side was drawn on. The spoon has a hinge in it allowing it to fold and there is a thin layer of adhesive on the inside of the can so it sticks. The kettle was just flash paper/cotton connected to a tripwire that activated and broke off when he opened the lid. Him trying to throw out the ball is just an excuse to block the cup with his body while covering it with the can. There's a shelf on the back of the desk he can grab the balls from, the second time the cup vanishes he just bumped it with his arm onto the shelf. On the top of the desk there's a magnetic spot to hold the can in place and a trap door to fill the can. The red ball that is under the kettle that multiplies is hollow and filled with more balls, the more he spreads the hole used to fill it the faster they "multiply" the same thing for the hat and his sleeves. The rain from under the umbrella is done in the same way as before but with a tripwire used to set off flash cotton/paper and tear the hole. if I made any inaccuracy please feel free to correct me
@sasopalma4993 Жыл бұрын
The spoon doesn't has a hinge but he just tucks it backward by his arm, drops it with his right hand behind the table and then lift it up again with his left hand for the reveal. You can even see a glimpse of it in one frame just as the left hands goes from under the table

@digitalwells Жыл бұрын
@@olivierhenning his hands are all thumbs
@MrCumulo Жыл бұрын
@@olivierhenning He puts a fake thumb on at 4:30 from behind the edge of the desk, then again at 4:41 you can see the ball has a slit in it, that must also be filled with smaller balls. So I think from those points he's able to make a load of squished foam balls look like they are coming out of nowhere. EDIT: not to take away from the performance, which was a fun and theatrical act, just a little tightening up to make it fool proof and it would be great.

Actually this is better than just fooling pen and teller this is a piece of art.
@eragon78 Жыл бұрын
These types of tricks usually arent going to fool another well trained magician. This is the type of performance where you more so show off your skills rather than wonder how they did it. Another talented magician is going to see through the tricks pretty easily, but that doesnt mean the performance isnt impressive still.

Very poor performance. Your hand movements were slow. I could see you pulling out balls from behind the table. The telephone slided towards the left side when you tried to pick up. Here instead of using your left hand you could push with your body to slide from behind to make it more interesting.

I see your point, however it is important to note that this routine is meant to be performed live. Where people can’t rewind or be as focused as on a screen. In real performance when he looks at you or looks away it controls your gaze to where it’s supposed to be. It’s meant to direct you attention away from something that’s happening so it’ll be a surprise. Whilst on video you sort of see the whole image at once making this type of routine very hard to demonstrate it’s magnificence.
