She did nothing except protect herself and she did her best to protect others. You can see in so many movies how much Michael affected her life, she has a right to be happy because she's had to kill him over and over again

Dude this is the saddest scene in Halloween ends it went from Laurie having a nice talk and flirting with the guy to her being screamed at its so ruthless

For anyone who didn’t understand She was happy she finally took down michal mires after years and years of plotting to take him down she finally did it but still a lot of people suffered through this tragedy and her husband was one of them and after she took down michal she went on the news and her picture showed,so everyone new what she looked like and one of the victims “the girls husband “ died because he was one of the victims and so they are blaming her

I felt so bad for her in this part cus she’s been through so much and she actually felt happy😕

I’m actually so glad she survived the attack, I just knew she lived because she was breathing in the last scene we see of her in kills

She should’ve said “To be completely honest, you are lucky, you survived, my daughter did not.”

Laurie deserved so much better. She saw her de@d friends, survived being attacked by Michael Myers, Waited for years to unalive him, attacked and survived again, lost her daughter, and gets blamed for all of this as if she's Micheal. She tried to warn them but they just didn't listen☹️☹️

Bit of a spoiler: she legit killed Michael and saved everyone and helped people survive him and that’s the thank you she gets? Basically, The women who walked out of the shop is Michael Myres first victim who he failed to kill, and he obviously seriously hurt the other woman’s sister and she’s mad, but the other woman doesn’t know what Laurie has already been through. If the only thing y’all are gonna do is argue then I’m gonna stop replying 😐

This kind of thing is actually really normal. A lot of people blame the family of the attacker for the attacker.

Explanation: Michael failed to kill that woman ( her name is sondra), after stabbing her with a light bulb in the throat. Sondra's sister clearly doesn't know what Laurie has been through (basically hunted by Michael her entire life) and blames her for what happened.

I felt so bad for her in this scene because walking out she was so happy and full of joy and because of that lady in the next scene she was sad and crying 😢😢

I felt SO bad for Laurie she didn't deserve that. It was NOT her fault Michael did that. It also took me a few seconds to realize that was the woman from Halloween Kills. EDIT: There, I deleted it. Chill. Omfg. Y'all got anger issues.

Explanation for those who don’t understand: Laurie, (the lady walking out of the store) had a stalker who is named Michael Myers and Michael has stalked her and killed people around her since 1978. During the night events of 2018, Michael broke out of prison and went on a rampage killing lots of a people. Sondra (the lady in the wheelchair) was a victim of Michael along with her husband, although she survived but her husband didn’t. People blame Laurie for the reason why most of the people died in 2018 even thought I wasn’t her fault.

Laurie had suffered for years and did everything to try and protect herself and her family, and yet everyone blames her for Michael's actions even though she's a victim too. It's so heartbreaking.

I don’t usually say stuff like this but it was adorable when you see Laurie walk out of the store smiling because that’s the first time she did in years.

The fact, the woman survived Michaels attack left me kinda confused.

Man, screw that lady! That is so horrible! The writers really made that “victim” easily the most unlikable character ever. I’d be saying, “ok and?” not “I’m sorry.” At that point it’s not my fault and not my problem.🙄 plus Laurie spent her whole life being almost killed by her own family member…and losing everything in the process.😤

Literally Laurie did not deserve this mind you Michael first attacked her when she was just a teenager. She spent years being cautious and aware of her surroundings because she knew he would come back for her but not even her own family believed her everyone thought she was going crazy because they thought this her daughter got killed by Michael and her close friends and almost her granddaughter too because no one listened... Kinda breaks my heart to see that happen to her 💔

It's extremely unfortunate that people blamed Laurie for the death of their close family/friends even though she tried to warn everyone that Micheal had escaped. Everyone called her insane because they were positive that Micheal hadn't escaped from prison. Laurie lost a whole chunk of her family and friends trying to protect others, yet people were still convinced that the deaths were her fault

This man wanted to kill her since she was a teenager, Michael had such an angry build up inside him, she even tried to talk to him, but he didn't listen, Michael wanted to be the only one alive and nobody else, but him, ppl made Laurie the crazy one, but it was Michael. Michael provoked Laurie and she became the way she was. Michael knew he would have to fight her, so he could be the only one alive, Michael was killing since his middle School year. Laurie lost a lot of people, friends and family, this man would follow Laurie everywhere she went just so he could kill her, but failed. Michael needed serious help.

The way the girl who goes off went off at the woman who was also attacked just bc she survived is just messed up. "A serial killer killed my family member and I'm getting mad at you bc you survived his attacks"
