It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually (I've been saying this since march...) but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol

to add on to your idea of making lost soul have the bffs shield, maybe picking up bffs will instead make him inherit your defense items (infamy, pyromaniac, etc.)

He could really use something. Baby sitting him is often more work than the pay out. Yes you could get quality 4 angel items from him, but you could also get those with deals or the stairway.

You actually do get two of pointy rib! They’re just perfectly layered over the top of each other but the damage output IS doubled. Figuring out an easy craft for it with tainted Cain can be pretty fun when you’ve got like 10

Maybe lost soul should have "1 health" No hit= angel item 1 hit (half health)= treasure item 2 hits (death) = most likely a health up. Of course, BFF could be unusable with Lost Soul afterwards, or maybe this is the buff instead of having his current shield.

Maybe they can have lost soul be time gated? So the faster you get through floors/rooms the more shields/rewards you get. I don't know how hard that would be to balance. Maybe the shield goes away if you are too cautious/slow on a floor? Maybe you have to finish a floor in a certain time to get a the shield for the rest of the run? If you go faster with crazier items that could potentially damage the soul, you get higher chances of better tier drops?

Simple as to buff. If losty survives 3-5 rooms, health. 6+, treasure room. Survives the floor, angel, and the more rooms you went through = higher chance of better items.

Lost soul and the trinket soul that shoots with you should be combined (change damage as needed for balance) and it starts with a mantle. If it has mantle still when changing floors payout should be better. Now the item isn't trash Edmund!

I think instead of giving random rewards each time, lost soul should scale in rewards the longer you keep it alive. This could effectively nerf the glitch if it isn't patched, and could add some more value to the item.

That's already in the game, it's a trinket called Found Soul, it acts like a copy of you (so, shoots and uses active items) and also has a Holy Mantle if you do.

For Science I tried 400 times and it tends to be : - 25% souls heart's, - 25% eternal heart's - 50% items For them who wants to know the process, i am not masochist so I use command to give me lost soul (G lost soul) and when you use the commande "stage 1", it triggers lost soul so I just count each result each time as i enter the command. I stop at 400 just because I was starting to get headaches from counting XD real numbers : - 408 tries - 101 times souls heart's (24.75 %) - 107 times eternal heart's (26.23 %) - 200 times items (49.02 %) If you want continue, I let you do XD
