One year ago Thursday, LaVoy Finicum and 7 other militia members drove away from the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and headed toward John Day for a community meeting.

This story is crazy. I just came across it. First video I seen was cell phone from inside truck and instantly you can tell this is not normal. It worst corruption right for everyone to see.

Please watch the video from inside his truck at the time. They were invited to a meeting with the shariff. He and other friends of family were traveling along a stretch known for not having cell service. At no point did they threaten the police. They made it clear that they were on their way to have a completely peaceful discussion with the shariff and asked the police to please follow them to the sharifs office where they could sort it all out like gentlemen. The police had set a trap. He was never going to make that meeting, he was never going home again. It was nothing but an assassination and ambush. A 15 year old girl was in the truck unarmed. In fact they explicitly said many times they will not shoot or raise any weapons. They intend to meet with the shariff as invited peacefully and would like the police to follow them at a safe speed to the meeting. It was definitely an ambush they had police with rifles in the woods for about a mile stretch waiting for them. This was the only possible outcome it was unavoidable that he would lose his life brutality on that day. He had zero chance of ever living past the moment he set out for the meeting. He announced they were going to slowly drive to the meeting and said they meant no harm. After he set off slowly again the police followed him and began shooting at the vehicle that was driving away causing it to vere off the road. At which point he exited the vehicle with his hands up and was first shot I believe in the back by one of the snipers they had positioned up ahead of them. After he was shot multiple times he possibly reached for his waste. Maybe a last ditch effort to defend himself. Maybe just the death thrashes of a man shot multiple times with high caliber rounds.. as he lay dead on the ground the police continued to open fire on the vehicle for minutes straight as the occupance covered on the floor. At no point did anyone in the vehicle make any moves that could be considered a threat. The vehicle was leaving the scene when they opened fire. They continued to shoot at the vehicle with hundreds of rounds as they took cover inside praying and begging the police for mercy. More than one person was shit inside the vehicle as they were defenseless and trying to surender peacefully. They were given no such chance to surrender they continued to fire upon the vehicle even tho nobody came out threatening or pointing any weapons. They knew they were in the truck taking cover begging them to stop and the police just kept shooting without a single care in the world. After hundreds of rounds fired at them they were finally allowed to surrender themselves peacefully as they'd been trying to do the entire time. This was one of the most egregious police killing I've ever witnessed. It was murder and attempted murder. The police had set up an ambush trap and had shooter stationed in the woods all along the road knowing they'd be shooting him. This was not a normal pull over it was a trap. This is absolutely disgusting and I can't even begin to imagine the trauma his family and those in the truck including a 15yo girl must be going through. Right or wrong he was a brave man and he did not deserve to die like that. Rest in peace Robert 😔 no matter what happens there can be no justice for lavoy.. nothing could ever make what they did to them ok. No amount of prison could ever begin to undo the evil atrocities the police and gov committed on that day. He stood his ground for what he believed was right. At no point did he hurt anyone. I've watched violent child murders taken in peacefully. This is what happens when you stand up to your government.. 🤬 I dream of a day when we can all citizens stand together put aside our differences and peacefully stand up for ourselves and refuse the government corruption and rule. They can't kill or arrest us all. I sy this because I can't call for any kind of violence on here but I believe in defending yourself against a life threatening assault. But we would need to start peacefully and allow them to escalate it themselves then defend ourselves. But we can't just keep letting them do this to us. Without the people there is no country. It won't function if it's only government agents and nobody to control. If we all stand up for what's right they can't do anything. We need to sacrifice our comfortable lifestyle and make it clear we will not tolerate this and if they want to continue the only people left in this country will be police and government agents..

Shit for brains Finicum would have been set free without charges too.... if he had made better decisions.... like don't run from police road blocks.... don't jump a snow bank.... and don't jump out of your truck, running around like a fool as you shout "you're gonna have to shoot me!"

Well no doubt it was bad move to run from cops... but he did not try to run the road block. It is clear he was on the brakes from the point at which he could see the cars blocking the road. Next they shot at him three times as he approached the road block, two times as he exited the car. I also believe they shot him with a taser (you dont drop like he did from a thru and thru shot) Fatal shot was when he was just about laying on the ground. Here is my problem with it. Cops were judge jury and executioner. Finally I challenge you to tell me what the boom sound was (listen to sound from inside the car) that happens just as Lavoy was clear of the back of his truck. IE did they shoot him with a less than lethal round? Refute that boom... it was far different than the crack of a supersonic rifle round. Listen to it...

Never a good idea to jump out of the truck and yell "you're gonna have to shoot me! You're gonna have to shoot me!" That pretty much sealed his doom. Cops have to assume that you're telling the truth when you say stuff like that.

Yeah not a wise call when they have already shot at you 5 times and set up an ambush. That said the state policeman closest to him had a taser and looks to me like he deployed it. That is what caused Lavoy to stiffen up and begin to fall over. Then the two other cops in effect execute him. That is my real problem with this.

Yes, he would have, but instead, he had to run from the police road block, and then jump a snow bank, run out of the truck acting like a blithering idiot, yelling and screaming about how "you're gonna have to shoot me!".... well guess what, I guess they will then. ....and to think, if he would have just surrendered himself, he would have been not guilty with the first group. What an idiot.

Not refuting he should have given up. But police and FBI had already decided to use deadly force. IE... set up a road block that almost certainly was going to cause an accident. SHOT at truck three times as it approached the road block. (oh and Lavoy was on brakes as soon as he saw the road block... proof is out there just look at video... brake lights on) Next shot at him twice as he exited the truck. So... he should have hit the deck right after he cleared the truck. So if he wanted to draw fire away from them it would still be accomplished. But they, law enforcement had already decided to use deadly force. He just made it the ending certain by staying on his feet.

How so? The car did not threaten anyone save for the cop who ran out in front of it. It was stopped when LaVoy got out, and he did nothing to justify being shot. You need not find excuses for them. Too many Americans are being shot as "terrorists" which is insane .... criminally insane! LaVoy was executed. Is that justified in America?

Cops admitted they shot his truck three different times well before stopping distance. Why would they shoot if he could still stop before the roadblock? And if they are shooting at him why would he stop? Doesn't make any sense. But hey I guess firing at him when he steps out hands up was also legit and yes I saw the Arial view but they shot at him with his hands up when he first existed.. anyone who believes in self defense would reach for their weapon if they are unlawfully shooting at them...
