A team of armed law enforcement officials entered the property Wednesday of a home in Sun Valley that has been dubbed the "hoarder house" over the years.
This video aired on the KTLA 5 Morning News on July 17, 2024.

I think the people just upset someone's cookie party cuz if you look at 2:29 you can CLEARLY SEE a ambulance body sitting on top of something~and the powers to be are saying they didn't have the proper ordinances, please 🤦‍♀they know who purchases those things!! This place is out in the country. I would like to know if our property is ours or not. No way this is actually “bothering “ the neighbors. Police out there looking like they are dressed in swat. Probably the start of a land grab by the county. People really need to mind their own business.

I think everyone, as this house at 8633 La Tuna Canyon Rd, is at the end of it...and at the beginning of "Wildwood fire Road", which looks to be a hiking trail, but is FILLED with this guys junk...all the way up the canyon. Go take a look. Hence, that would piss off anyone walking up the trail.... I mean it goes on and on and on..... they could not possibly own that road...

@@masonite1973 Mostly fire danger. He has blocked the fire road and the neighbor's driveway with dead cars and such. He didn't plan well and started dumping too close to the only road, and so he had to keep dumping on the road all the way down to the neighbors.

This is bad and should be dealt with agreed. The only reason LA is tackling this conundrum is because it's an owed property. They can get money out of it or keep the property. How different or much worse is it the the homeless do as such, and they don't get delt with??? Because it's a loss for the city when dealing with poor people with nothing to take from.

LAPD is doing their job but who wants to wager some investor is waiting for this land? There is lots of posturing over property in those hills. Please Mayor Bass, we love you, but don’t keep doin’ this by embarrassing people with press conferences. Handle this matter privately. If this had been someone who had grown up in this area no one would have listened. But a new family moves in and gets instant respect. Not fare.

@@shawnhicks9838 true. Common situation up here. The council office has received calls about some of these issues, bully tactics from would be investors and they were never taken seriously. Now a family that moves in during the pandemic gets several news agencies to cover and a press conference? Something is not adding up. Some of us have grown up here and experienced worse situations with no results and dismissal from council office.

The guy started dumping stuff near the fire road, then brought in more and more stuff and couldn't get past the first piles of stuff, so he dumped stuff right up to the neighbor's driveway, blocking them in several times. He's got some issues.

Homeless camps creating ghettos in our cities require attention: homelessness is a federal HOMELAND SECURITY Issue. Centralize funds and enforce vagrancy laws. If not mental health institutions then create internment camps where food and medical attention can be focused.
