Here, he gives a behind-the-scenes look into how Zendaya’s Mugler Robot Suit moment came to be.

‘Mr Mugler’ - the respect Law has for the designer and his archive - and the fact they flew to Paris…TWICE…to meet face-to-face with the team. This is what I love - it’s not just the public event, it’s the work Law Roach and Zendaya do behind the scenes. Bravo!

@@julsgerobut this suit was specified to the model who originally wore it. Z having the EXACT same measurements is mindblowing and so incredibly rare. Every single part had been precisely fit to the original model. That means Z has the exact measurements that the og did. So. Incredibly. Rare.

i fell in love with mugler’s work as a child when beyoncé wore this and the rest of his pieces during IAWT. i’m so glad a whole new generation gets to marvel at his creativity now thanks to law and zendaya 🥹 he can rest in peace knowing his legacy will live on.

Beyoncé’s was an entirely different piece made specifically for her. The piece Zendaya wore was the ONE & ONLY ORIGINAL Mugler 1995 ARCHIVAL robot suit, worn only during the runway show.

The easy thing is that Zendaya has de height, weight and complexion of a haute couture model. So she fits perfectly in all the runway's designs.

This fact doesn't throw away the recognition about her perfection choosing outfits. I'm referring to this point because is not only that she can easily wear haute couture, the dresses has been made near to her measurements. If you have Ariana measurements you need to do the entirely dress again for your figure and probably it won't be the same.

You do not give Annie Leibowitz enough credit. You obviously don’t understand the context of those photos in her work. She’s not just a portrait photographer. As a victim of SA, the photo she took of Simone is so profound to me- and that’s just one aspect of this photo of a champion. That portrait tells the story of everything she’s accomplished that has made her heroic outside of the gymnasium.. the things that make her- who she is to us now and for ever. She’s struggled and won at life too. It’s an incredible portrait of a woman who had to smile as part of the way she represented all of us. Do you not like photography? Do you not think of her as an artist? I can tell you about the other photos you believe to be .. what? Some sort of scheme to make black women look ugly?

You do not belong in this comment section. Because you do not understand the composition to takes to orchestrate a Fashion Style, Runway Look, Photo Shoot, Set Design or even what it may take to structure a Dress or Outfit. Law Roach pulls ALL of that together and the people who can make it happen. He leads the team and KNOWS what each player on the team needs to shine at their BEST to showcase the overall goal. Law is also very talented multiple ways as well, but he is the Maestro, The Image Architect.

As someone figures out how to communicate with the world, their way of speaking evolves. I appreciate your comment, but not your rage. I just watched him in "Recipe for Change: Redefining Fashion" and he spoke completely different. So I apologize for triggering you, and I can admit when I'm wrong. If he was playing to the host of this show, he spoke very different with this other roundtable of designers and stylists.
