It’s a BATES FAMILY birthday special in Rocky Top! Celebrate with us at Gil Bates 58th Birthday Party, and Tiffany’s Dad, Dan’s 68th Birthday! This adventure kicks off with Lawson and Tiffany adding some major renovations to their Nashville home, then take to the skies as Lawson flies Tiffany over to East, Tennessee! Hang out at the ranch with Lawson and his nephew Bradley for some off-roading, poop scooping, and ranch-work. You’ll also get to join Tiffany and Lawson as they take time out for a very special visit to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, sing with some amazing kids, and attend an amazing Prom Night hosted by the hospital.

Lawson & Tiffany I follow all of the Bates kids. Y'all are so sweet and loving people. I'm sure your parents are so proud. I remember you visiting these hospitals on the show . So happy you found your special person and we love watching y'all . Your house is coming along great !

This was so much fun. Always love seeing all the Bates. Loved seeing Tiffany's dad and mom. Lawson so sweet how you've always gone to the hospital. That's an awesome thing you do. Also, such memories for Bradley how you invest time with him as I'm sure you do most of your neices and nephews as you can. I just love you guys. This was an awesome video.

You know what I like is they let them be them! If they wanted to go to college they could and everyone of them are successful without the men doing jobs for their dad to make ends meet and the women not being allowed to work and I am sure most everyone knows what family I'm talking about. Also, there are no huge scandals

MH, You are so Right !!!! I went through my oarebts divorcing 3 times and marrying 4 times. Except my mom didn't marry the 4 th. She kept dating. I have step and half siblings. My half siblings are 20 and 21 yr.s younger than me. When I was 12 , My Grandma took me to live with her and my pawpaw. No more being around cigarettes and alcohol. They gave me a GODLY home and atmosphere!! My Parents just both passed away in 2020 and exactly a month apart.

Love that you still go to the hospitals! I had a traveling piano player come to my room when I was in the hospital! Music is so relaxing when you feel bad! Which is why I’m so thankful for hymns!

When I grew up in the midwest I got to experience making ice cream before they were electric. A lot of times toward the end they used kids to weigh down the tubs when the cranking got tough. I am now 75 and living in NW but still love the ice cream and got my kids and grandkids hooked on it. I've only eaten vanilla or with fruit but there's nothing better.

However we are much older (59& 62) and a couple of our friends who helped also. We got it done but wow we have so much appreciation for those who do that for a living, it's hard work!

This was a great video. I loved you, and Tiff, visiting the children hospital. It made me miss my brother. We use to go with him to all the dance parties. He was in a wheelchair, and loved when we would hold his hands and dance, and spin him around. He has gone home to be with the Lord. It was so much fun to see all the smiles. God bless you both. Downtown Nashville is such a vibe. I enjoyed visiting. I saw Bridgestone Arena. The Predators won that game too. Glad to see that you guys having fun and enjoying life. The concrete folks did great and Warden always does awesome work. I’m glad for safe travelling mercies that the Lord extended to you guys while you were flying and landing. It’s fantastic that you are using your God given talents to bless the sweet children at the hospital. That is one fat hog. I love the idea of prom memories for kids that might have missed theirs due to illness.

13:10. I have seen that grating at local horse ranches in my area in New Hampshire. I did not know that was the purpose of the metal grating. Very clever!
