The police station was 6 miles away but, it took them over 45 minutes to get there when the 911 call came in. What were they doing having a pot luck? I read the police report. I live in southern Wisconsin hours away from this incident but, darn, the question remains “ what took the police 45 minutes to get there? I also do have questions about the initial 911 call from Jamie’s mother where the police passed the car and a detective said they passed a red car and he suspected it. So why were all the alerts the PD put out that we have no information since that’s the only car they saw on the road where the incident occurred?

They mention how she only talks about her own consequences which is bad enough but note what she thinks those consequences are... Losing her job and losing her apartment. She expected no punishment for shooting a man in his own home besides minor slaps on the wrist. Besides the fact that no normal person could "accidentally" do what she did, and any person who had would be concerned about the victim not themselves... And even if somehow both those weren't true any non cop would be fearing life in prison. She wound up getting a slap on the wrist for murder anyway... And still she's fighting that. Imagine if her and the victims roles were switched. Would the judge be hugging the killer then? This whole case is a travesty.

What the lawyers assume is that a Cop is NEVER Off Duty, which is Absurd. You can't expect an off duty Cop to conform his training 100% because after all they are on their own time. She was just a young lady who wasn't suited to being a Cop but she hung in there until it fried her brain.
@DD-qo1tw
@DD-qo1tw 5 ай бұрын
@@joekulik999 The relevance of her being a cop is that theoretically she should be even less likely to randomly "accidentally" go into a mans house and immediately shoot to kill. The average citizen doesn't have de-escalation training or training on how to handle dangerous or high stress situations. What you don't seem to understand is that the average citizen would get life for this and have no defense. She and her defense tried to plead for special treatment when really she had even less of an excuse than a random citizen who would have none to begin with. You twisting this to make the killer out to be the victim is absurd. Question what life choices brought you to this backward view.

Call 911" and the cops got there just as the kidnapper was driving around looking for her !! Does this claim the cops found her? No. She escaped with the guy's shoes on and walked through the forest to a road.

While I don’t believe her, I will say she might not have used a key. We live in a gated apartment complex with cameras everywhere and don’t lock our door and I’ve actually wondered before if i would ever accidentally walk into the apartment above me (because I’ve also been distracted/on my phone) and one time it was dark coming into my own apartment and as soon as i opened the door I panicked and thought “oh my god what if this isn’t my place” I get paranoid about it sometimes though and it has literally never happened to me, but yea sometimes I’ll open my door while while looking at my phone and as soon as I take the first step in I’m like oh my god what if this isn’t my place but again, that’s literally never happened and it honestly just seems really unlikely and I just don’t buy her story

I'm not trying to excuse what Amber did, but when i was a kid...around 9 or 10, I walked into my friend's house thinking it was my own. I was walking home from school, her house was about 10 houses before mine on the same block. I walked right past her dad and her brother who were working in the flowerbed. They said "hi" to me as I walked past them and into the house. It wasn't until her mother walked into the living room and said something that I realized my mistake. So many comments are saying that they don't think that could ever possibly happen because theyve never done it. I clearly remember being on autopilot when i did it, so I believe anything's possible. There was also a case of a man that was sleep walking when he drove across town to his inlaws house to murder them. Truth is stranger than fiction. 🤷‍♀️

This case absolutely should be a death penalty case. Unfortunately it is not. That’s shameful

I dont get the police lady thing... Did she have a past relationship with the tenant above her? Was the door unlocked before entering? Is the apartment set up exactly the same down to the wall color? Like what in the mind of the officer could she even grasp onto to justify that these were the same apartments

The idea of a Civil Rights attorney being objective does not exist and never will…God forbid they forgave the woman and that it was actually an accident. I just think that attorney is shameful.

I know this is not the point but in the second case how was she able to get into his apartment? Idk if I missed that part or they didn’t say. I really don’t believe that she thought that was her apartment her story blows my mind. She did not get enough time if it would have been a non police person I think they would have gotten much more time.
