Such a wonderful broadcast...I haven't had the opportunity to watch many of the old black and white episodes, so thank you for making sure that we all have the opportunity to watch this one! Darlene Powell did a beautiful job...and kudos to Lawrence and company for featuring her!!! And young Jack Imel!

Ohhhh myyyy goodness!!! THIS is SO PERFECT!!!! Not only am I thrilled to nostalgically celebrate Saturdays with Lawrence Welk again, BUT, you have BLESSED me with a late birthday present!!! YES, this show was aired on my THIRD birthday on January 14th, 1957!!! I’m getting old. I was 3 when this first aired. I’m 70 now, and this is so much better then anything on TV now. I really got interested back about 25 years ago in the show. I seen it was on the PBS network, and put it on just for kicks. I’ve been hooked on it since. It’s great to see the old black and white shows. I’ve heard of a few of the people on the show, but now seeing them is even better. Thanks for putting them on!
