In this video l will travel with SGR train from Nairobi to Mombasa and l also l will show you how the tamius look like now. The train has 2 classes the economy class and the vip class.
It takes around 6hr from NBO to Mombasa and it goes through the mountains of Kenya and national parks.

@@dudy I did last year, though I was in Coach 9 (not 1st class). The double security was hectic honestly but we have gotten used to that kind of security checks. I used a flight back so I didn't give it another chance, but would love to, soon.

@@dudy Depends on how they interact with you on a personal level. We treat them as cops thus there is not much conversation. I loved their sniff dogs though.

@@ellokor5269hehe.. yeah.. the dogs were cute in Nairobi.. but i Mombasa they were so old and overworked 😱.. but in fact.. i am not understanding why all that deama around.. normaly the train comes and people get on.. no checking of bags and waiting for bribes… 😢… that i saw only in kenya

Let me tell you something, l once traveled with sgr from mombasa to Nairobi but the workers were super rude and arrogant

Maybe they had not been paid their salaries! Crazy things happen in this country. People work with no pay for many months e.g. casual workers, journalists, county workers etc so they get irritated quickly. Don't judge. Be kind coz you don't know what hell people are suffering.

Young man, If nobody has told you this, then let me tell you. Kenya is prone to terrorist attacks. So our security especially with foreigners is VERY strict! So if you plan to travel around the big cities here just be aware that you can be checked over and over again. There are many incidents that were stopped by these kinds of checks esp in Mombasa. Don't complain, just obey the rules.

Dudy you're always complaining about everything in this country yet you're still here. From Airports to the beaches now to Sgr and god knows what else. Understand that things can't be done to fit what you're used to in your country jeeez! We don't joke with security owing how Alshabaab been bombing us so yes, you've to go from point to the other.

@@hopendambuki4092well.. probably this Alshabab etc is caused by this… i have seen so much hatered fed by this.. we say if you seed evil, you will harvest evil… the country, people and governments should work together to discuss and get together… in other words.. how will a double checking of all mzungu’s passports waiting for a bribe possibly make the country safer???
