just to make an update on this video for new watchers, at LAX they recently completely a connection that now connects every single terminal. you no longer have to go leave terminals 1-3 to the outside and go thru TSA again!

Thanks for the info JP! 25-30min to walk from Centurion Lounge to United? That's exactly what I needed to know since I'm arriving back from an international flight and got 3hrs to kill for my transfer flight on United. Appreciate the info!

Not on this trip, but I have visited the United Club Lounge at LAX. I liked the Centurion Lounge more. The food is way better.

Unfortunately, no I didn't. I wanted to but realized it was a good distance from my terminal and the time it would have taken would have been incredibly inconvenient. I used another lounge close to my gate and it was really nice.

Ha! You're only supposed to be there for 3 hours before your flight takes off. But if your flight gets delayed, you can be there the additional time you have to wait.

I have the Amex platinum. With that being said, to access the centurion lounge do I only show them my card at the counter or is there any other prior process I have to do before going to the lounge?

Give them your Amex Platinum card, your ID and your boarding pass, which needs to be 3hrs or less before your departure.

@@randallraines6553 Yep! Very simple for the Centurion lounge. Now if you want to use Priority Pass (which is also a benifit of the Amex Platinum) you will need to register and get a physical Priority Pass card to access their lounges. Thanks for watching!

Centurion lounge is so overrated these days, it’s always packed. Seems like everyone’s getting accepted for the platinum cards.

They are changing the entry rules to the lounge soon. This should make the lounges less crowded.

@@jpknowledge8852 I don't know if the new entry rule will see a less crowded lounge; people are not afraid to cash out $50 bucks to get in.

@777Aviation I think $50 is high enough to reduce card holders from bringing in additional people. They will probably look for a priority pass lounge instead

how do you get there from terminal 2 or 3? i have 4 layover with delta.

You have to leave the airport and go through security again. Not worth it in my opinion. Only makes sense when flying on an international carrier or from terminals 4 and above.
