LAX FlyAway 🚌 Honest Review
In this video, we will do an honest review of the LAX FlyAway Bus. This is a suggested mode of transportation for people travelling to and fro the airport. This shuttle service is cheaper than Uber and it gives passengers convenient drop offs to the airport. Service is available in Union Station and Van Nuys.

Lol sorry LAX flyaway. It’s just really time consuming for the money saved. Maybe going from airport to city better

Its inconvenient if you dont hv a credit card, cant pay cash. And its not the cheapest. Subway to Rosa Park & Aviation lax is much cheaper only $1.75 😊

You'd be waaay better off taking the subway than trying to get on one of these busses. They fill up and pass you by.

Agree, returning from Lax to Union Station was such a pain waiting up to an hour for the Flyaway. I switched to riding the green line at Aviation to the blue line Rosa Park to Union station.

The Flywaywa bus is gar age. Multiple busses passed us because they were full. I wasted an hour and a half, and the company stole $10 from me because they force you to download an app and buy a ticket before you get on the bus. Traveling is stressful enough. Don't depend on the FlyAway bus to add more stress.

I hear you. I think it’s best to use it from the airport so that you are not catching a flight. I did not have to download an app the time that I used it….. while it’s still the cheapest to go to Vannuys or Union Station to & fro airport, time is an issue..

Thx...now we are not sure for 9/5 early morning to LAX if there will be any cancellation for 6AM schedule which can be very bad.

Yes, going back from airport seems like a more safe & convenient way to do it. Idk if coming in earlier is worth it for you from the Union station…

They have recently changed the bus company that operates the Fly Away so not sure but might be better now. Only thing I would add though I would recommend at LAX try to be at least 2 hours before flight departure. The lines for security can be awful at certain times. Glad you made your flight though.

OMG, to only arrive with so little time to LAX. . . the worst airport ever! I have seen such stressed employees and chaos there that I try to avoid it, but it also usually has the cheapest flights so I can't stay away. I always give myself a three hour window for LAX check in and security, and that's only for domestic flights. For international flight I'm allowing four hours. I would prefer to be bored but all ready to go, than freaked out or missing my flight.

Good way to solve the late issues. I honestly feel you and have felt that way before but now, for some reason, it changed and I look forward to going to LAX. It’s now my fave airport as I have been familiar with terminals there. So excited that they have Alfreds and their fire wood pizza from Terminal 4 has become my tradition. They also have Urth Caffe & farmers market. It’s like little LA lol

Love this video! One thing that I learned and wanted to share with you is to look for a duffle bag that best fits your luggage and has all the wonderful features a bag can have especially in plane travel use. I'm using Nomad Lane's Bento Bag and it's a good choice.

I took a flyaway bus from Los Angeles to van nuys...I think it's definitely worth it especially if you trying to catch a flight but I usually just take a Los Angeles metro bus from the airport to my room! How was Oakland? Did you go to the USS Hornet in Alameda which is next city over from Oakland! Have a wonderful day beautiful lady😘😘😘 xox

There was shuttle to Aviation station on 11/19/23. Waited only 2 minutes and made it to Union station pretty fast.

I hope you learned to allow for PLENTY OF TIME when you are traveling to air ports, it's a bus, not a chauffeur! Their time schedules are on the website.

Yes, I’m 1 hr ahead of my sched supposedly until one trip got cancelled. This is to show how things could turn out using fly lax from Union station 😊

She knows Fly Away is not a chauffeur. It is a service. With any service, you pay for a bit of reliability. This video provides a real review of what travelers can expect. That way they can decide to use it or go for something better suited for a little more money. I have been on Fly Away. My boyfriend lived in LA for 30 years. We know what to expect.
