As someone who lived in Michigan for a long time and did some coaching/playing in the state, Michigan lacrosse at the high school level has a really big drop off between the top level teams and talent versus the rest of the state. It’s hard to fill out an entire high school schedule with competitive games against equally talented teams. That’s the main reason you’re seeing some ridiculous scoring records at the high school level all from Michigan

@@LaxWeekly if you go to inside lacrosse, and then recruits, and then click the recruits home page, and then scroll down, it says “Top Classes” and it says 2020, 2019, 2021. They have the most 4 & 5 stars of any other class, and the highest rated recruits of any other class. Also Ty Xanders said himself that 2020 was the best class of all time because of Brennan O’Neill, Brendan Grimes, Xavier Arline, and basically the entire 91 Crush team which was the best travel team in lacrosse history.

From Ontario Canada. I saw former NHL player Adam Oates score 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points in one game while playing Junior A for the Etobicoke Eclipse in 1981. Nobodys gonna break that record.
