I don't think pundits were going after Trent, they were concerned that his role for the England team is not in midfield. I agree with them. Southgate is trying to copy Klopp. Simple. Why Southgate took Shaw? An injured Shaw. Makes no sense. As far as I'm concerned, only Guehi from Crystal Palace has played well. Everybody else has been crap.

Obsessed with arsenal 😂😂 Why🤔 You don't win anything. Your club and fans are awful. Rice and saka have been terrible. They've got time to perform though as they are still in the draw and have an easy way to get to final. Don't want England to win any game but you've got an easy route to the final.

It's very difficult to cherry pick a bunch of players from different clubs, different philosophies, different ideologies, assemble them and then say go and play. Not easy.

Has nothing to do with them playing for arsenal 😂 Palmer has done more in 20 minutes than Saka in the whole tournament

Trent ain't generational bruv😆 there's only 2 in Mbappe & Haaland right now. The next who can possibly become generational is Saliba at CB and maybe Vini at LW but there's lots of stand out star left wingers for me so that's a debate! Saliba can definitely become generational in next 3 years of so. He'll 100& be at Madrid in 3-5 years so we need to win now and he RUTHLESS Arsenal. GENERATIONAL = one of a kind in your position. Only 2 right now Mbappe & Haaland.

by far in what regards, is he better passer, dribbler, finisher then saka ? His so called impressive cameo had as much impact on the game as saka's and he was fresh coming on. Last time palmer started was against Iceland and we all remember what happened
