the anti-aliasing is useful in the pixel persona. it minimizes the pixelization of images

He rené, thanks for watching. I'm not sure I understand the question, you can lock a group of layers, but that won't force all layers to be added in to the group. Layers are added based on the layer or group currently or last selected I believe.

How to consolidate layers in vector persona ? It makes too many layers. Also can we switch back and forth from vector to pixel persona ?

You can merge or group layers, I would choose group so that you can keep them as vector objects, that is the power of vector, you can always get back and edit it. You can switch personas in the top left, vector persona looks like the app icon (a pen) and pixel persona looks like a bunch of dots. You can switch at any time.

Do you mean removing the background of an image? That would probably be better done in Affinity Photo, but the process is the same in both. I go over it in my intro to Affinity Photo course: skl.sh/3emTVKj if you are using designer just make sure you are in the photo persona
