hats off, mate! i just got AE and tried to learn with the tutorials they provided and got through 1 or 2 and then got stuck. Then i looked online at local schools who taught AE but the course was expensive. Hundreds of dollars. Then i found your course and took a chance and paid the small fee. wow. what a deal! Extremely comprehensive. thanks so much all the way from Montreal, Canada.

Hello Gareth, i just started learning AE and i must say that the way you explain everything step by step makes the training very easy. The details you show us and the training all together are excellent! I am a web designer and AE reminds me a lot of the old Adobe Flash, so I am very happy because all these timelines etc. are very familiar to me. Thank you for this course, i love it

I noticed the bottom scroll button bar doesn't have left and right arrows on either end, on this version. I know I can use the bottom zoom and out arrows or the top bar at the ruler, but the bottom left right arrows were a good help for moving by one frame both sides, And yes, I can hover mouse over the scroll bar and use wheel to move too

I am absolutely over the moon happy that I found this course. This is the best course I've taken on anything!! So much better than anything even from Adobe. How are you giving it away? Why am I giving it away? Well I guess I could say its 50% philanthropy, 50% ad revenue. The perfect combo in my book! Glad you are finding it useful, and thank you for the kind words. I put a lot of work into this one! I don't have a Premiere course planed, could be something I look into in the future tho. Tho there are some great creators out there like Justin Odisho who do a lot of work for Pr. Check him out and let him know I sent you over!

@@GarethDavidStudio I'm on vid 15 now and learning so so much. Here's a kind of crazy off topic (sort of) question: What are you using to create your screen captures? Something like Screenflow? I'm starting out with Screenflow, but don't see any examples of courses/tuts as elegant as yours. Is it possible that you've done everything in After Effects? I don't see how that's possible, but maybe it is. Maybe how to create tutorials as nice as yours would be a future possibility? Would that be something that would be included in membership? Thanks.

@@ramonanichols I use Screen flow to capture all my content. I then bring it into AE, where I add all the post-production effects and presentation slides. I'd love to develop a series on how to create tutorials, tho right now, I am currently working on my next project I plan to release on YT later this year!

Great tutorial except my layers will not show up no matter what I do. Two days and 20 tutorials later and I am still trying to figure this out. I see the effects in the upper left panel and below on the left of the timeline but there are no signs of them in the time line which gives me no way to control when they come in and out. I am going MAD!!!

I have just purchased this course but Lemon Milk which I can see is available to use in my Indesign is missing from AE file, also the file wants to convert from Windows 12, yet I am on a Mac

Don’t worry about the convention, the files were composed on Windows, the conversation is normal. There have been issues regarding the font. Some of my layers stopped showing. I checked Opacity is 100%, Size is not 0. Next, I purged the cache, quit Ae, restarted the computer.

@@user-in2pr9xu7d I got this solved. I ended up bringing in the elements again from the library, and swapping them out by clicking on the layer, clicking the new item and Option+Cmd+forward slash and then it showed. I did that to all of them to get them to show up.
