Record your video in sections, IMO no video should be longer than 5 minutes. Save the videos for each topic in a folder and allow viewers to play as needed. Loom now uses AI to time stamp your video as well so you can skip to the necessary section. I save so much time recording a 5 minute video rather than spending 3 hours taking screenshots, annotating, writing each step, then formatting. And if a section needs to be updated you only need to record that short video, not the entire process.

I totally agree with this. So many trainings are hours of video and it takes too long. You can absorb words and still images much faster. Use video sparingly if at all and only if required, don’t default to it.

Loom is great. 5 minutes videos work much better for my firm when dealing with contractors and new staff than written procedures. I have much less hand holding with Loom than written procedures. IMHO

What about creating a video and then using something like sidebar alongside it to create a written SOP? In that same vein- is there an AI that can listen to someone talking through a process and transcribe it using AI but then intuitively shape it into an SOP? And lastly- the new AI feature on Company cam and just company cam in general is such good "Equipment" for systemizing I am in awe. Just random thoughts here sorry. I am the biggest fangirl of your content ever!!!

But wouldn't an SOP Document for all processes of the entire company feel overwhelming to employees and staff? What's a proper format then be for recording all processes a company may have?

That's where we'd suggest categorizing the SOPs per department. That way, someone in your customer support department isn't overwhelmed with the SOPs that belong to your marketing departement.
