This is deep. I been through the fire too, girl. Molested on mom and dad's side at the age of 8 & 10 Physically abused by stepfather 9-14 Raped at 15 by a grown man. I've tried ending my life 3x, 3 different ways. Became a single mom at 18. I'm so grateful to the Most High that I am still alive and my life was for a purpose.! I been hooked on this song since the 1st time I ever heard it. Its so crazy to know so many of us young girls went through similar situations growing up. I can so relate...a child of addicts and abuse, turned 18 started my own family, biracial kids they became victims of my husband and I circumstances, as we became addicts they suffered , I put the blame on me, they put the blame on themselves,Lost our daughter in 2021 to gun violence caught in random crossfire coming out of waffle house....I put the blame on me and the cycle continues unless you give it to the Lord let him carry tthe burden.....and the blame becomes a blessing...life gets easier.....God shows up and shows out when you accept him....God bless you for writing this song it will help and has helped so many
