The music is aesthetic and atmospheric, the MC moves like Spike in a 2000s anime looking world. Nice Mappa is promoting their own productions too! Just from the trailer, it is shaping up to be a Shinichiro Watanabe signature cool sensation of a show!!

This makes me all tingly. I am not at all an ace in the subject but was part of the honor student in highschool. I got partnered with this girl that's very good in English, nice accent and has wide vocab and just overall fluent like it's her first language. Everyone wanted her as a group mate when it comes to Speech class. We were tasked to recite a poem in front of the class. We finished with gasps and oohs and ahhs. I had speech impediment that hindered a lot with my standing but I will never forget that 😂

The MC propelling himself in the air with birds and feathers around is a direct reference to the director’s incredible 2014 work, Terror no Resonance. That alone has me in hope for something as beautifully lasting on the soul. God rest

It’s like Ash and Eiji! The way he parkours through buildings and flys into the air is like Eiji, and his confident smirk while blasting the gun is like Ash. The shot of him flying with white dove is a little reminiscent of AoT, maybe it’s symbolic? But omg I’m looking forward to another Mappa anime, they’re so good at expressing the light and dark.
