I cannot belive that challenger won it was going 180 mph and i touth mallard would win but mallard lose and callenger won and beat mallards victory now the fastest train is challenger

Wow. Mallard looks more detailed in this game than the others. This is the second race I’ve seen mallard lose since it raced against flying Scotsman in 2017

I read something that said the LNER was interested in the German "Flying Hamberger" trains of 1933 Because they wanted to run a 4 hour London to Newcastle service And Sir Nigel Gresly's A3 class Just wasn't cutting it but the best the diesel could offer was 4 hours and 15 minutes and Sir Nigel Gresly thought steam could do better and then the A4 class pacific was born. :D

3:40 well I think up challenger is gonna win because since the up has alot more horsepower, bumping it up by 75% would naturally give the challenger alot more horsepower than mallerds, however mallard does have streamlining so that might also play a role, but I do think the challenger might win, if not I think it is gonna be close then

Fun fact: actually the mallard has the 3rd or the 2nd top speed and the flying Scotsman had the speed of 225 mph!

Do mallard vs the Milwaukee road Hiawatha streamlined! It has been said that they went quite fast, over 100mph on the regular, and apparently went faster than the mallard(but its not officialy recognized[obviously])

Sadly, out of the total of over 90 Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 Challengers that were built between 1939 and 1944, only 2 remain, 3985 (of which is about to undergo a full restoration) and this one, 3977, of which is permanent static display
