Pay Attention, Family, to how the enemy uses tactics to prevent you from reaching the purpose God has for you! Including getting to your head (thoughts) to drain you mentally and get you tired and weary and “lazy” so that you sleep your purpose off and NEVER get you to your mission that God needed you, your creativity, your ability, your talent, your perseverance that is truly within you. The enemy uses a lot of ways (putting distractions in the way - people, circumstances) to slow you down or worse, get you to neeeever reach your purpose and plans of God for you for the world and His Kingdom. Think about what Purpose the enemy is “quietly” attacking by making you comfortable and lazy...

I’m here because I kept tossing and turning and pressing the snooze button because I didn’t feel like getting up to do my hair. I fell back asleep and dreamt I was running from a sloth. I managed to get home and in the midst of shutting the door the sloth put its hand in the door but I still shut it but right when I shut it I jumped up out of my sleep and googled the biblical definition of sloth and here I am.

Btw, this I felt it was God speaking. I lost my job to Covid. It has been very difficult to “force” myself into doing things now that I don’t have a routine. I feel lost and demotivated. I wake up at 6am always - without an alarm only to tell myself I need just another hour...that becomes three...then I feel terrible and sluggish and just disappointed I wasted all morning and it’s a cycle. I was sitting here after stumbling to this video eating and when he said “even eating is hard” I was like 😳 ... I feel convicted here. Thank you for this message. I have been struggling with getting out of this “funk”. It is definitely a strategy the enemy uses to keep you from your purposed vision. I’m getting up and moving! I’m setting up my routine to follow diligently going forward! I’m leaving my phone in another room and set alarm to get up and out of bed. I’m scheduling Bible appointment with God and gym time. I am putting the effort!

I have been struggling with laziness and procrastination. I have been spending hours on tiktok and going to bed late. I did not realize the consequences of this, especially when it comes to our relationship with God.

I definitely struggle with laziness and I beleive it has contributed to my backsliding several times in life. I have now been on the right track for a year, but a month ago I got Corona virus and my family ( I am a wife and mother with young adults still in the house). I have become very lazy and discouraged. I am healthy physically again but I am completly passionless. I don't even FEEL love for my family or God. This sermon helped me to identify whatvI am dealing with, but didn't help as to what to do about it. Please pray for me, anyone who reads this.

I was lazy before but I got sick with a heart condition and I could not even bend down to do laundry out of the machines with my heart getting erratic and having to sit and rest to get it back into normal rhythm. I dealt with that for a year and a half before getting a cardiac ablation to get it fixed. When I would try to do normal things I would almost pass out. 3 months after the ablation I got Covid and was hospitalized for a month and when I was finally released to go home I could only walk a few steps at a time (like 5 or 6) before having to stop because my oxygen would fall too low. I fought back. I was out of work for 6 months and my dr wanted me to go on long term disability but I said “No” I wanted more. 3 months ago I had a total hip replacement and have a severely injured back. Usually when o can’t get out of bed it is because of pain but I have to admit, something is not right and I am very, very lazy. I no longer feel like cooking, cleaning, playing with my pets, or enjoy my work. I want to fix it but I feel like I have nothing to work for. No hope, although I want to have hope. Please pray for me. I am stuck and I do not want to be. BTW way I am now oxygen free during the day and only need it at night. I am working on strength and range of motion in my hip. But Ian’s sloth and am disgusted by it.

I realize whenever I had sadness, sickness, injury or distraction it would become a deterrent and it would take me so long to get back on track. Thank you for this message. Passion and Purpose is priceless. We must conttinue to fight the good fight. ✝️ the finish line. This is a great sermon and I definitely felt the conviction of the holy spirit. I feel terribly after coming to the realisation I've been doing this for so long but we have to stay positive and understand we are not under condemnation through Jesus but for Him to renew our mind, change our ways and work towards his Glory. Remember this world we live in is carefully designed by the devil who wants us to waste our time and not fulfil God's greater purpose for us. Do not be dismayed, but use this knowledge to overcome the devil and pray for God's help. He is proud of you all for being here and working towards fulfilling His purpose and walking in the spirit. God bless you all and I know you can all do it. I have so much to work on personally but God is helping me big time.. Glory to Him!!

Been dealing with laziness my whole life. Getting bad grades in school because i was too lazy to study or do my homework. i told myself that i would get my drivers license soon when i was 15. Im about to turn 19 and i still havent acted on it. I was too lazy to apply to colleges, and not getting a license hindered me from getting a job. I’ve recently started picking my life up bit by bit and my laziness has transformed into self hatred. i started blaming my mom and I even started depending on god to live my life for me and make things just fall in my lap without working for it. Wish i couldve found this video 4 years ago.

God showed me a dream of me getting robbed gunpoint at my front doorstep, there was a gun I picked up but it had no bullets, this was after I continued in slothfulness even after reading Proverbs

i love this message but this man has clearly never experienced disease or physical ailment because some people like addicts or ill people are cursed with these consequences and or ailments. This man is clearly blessed. Regardless tho consequences are consequences and disease is disease and they arent impossible to be healed of and you must fight to get out of lazy habits even if your addiction or disease causes you to for example have no energy, never sleep or feel constantly ill. You still have to fight because choosing laziness even if it it feels difficult to move for good reason isnt a good excuse to disregard the faithful choice to stand on Gods word.
