Lazy Chicken & Dumplings with Biscuits
1 cup onions
1 cup Celery
1 cup Carrots
Rotisserie Chicken Shredded
1 can Cream of Chicken
1 can Creamof Celery
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Chicken broth 32oz
1 can Grands Southern Style Biscuits
1 tsp poutry season
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 stick unsalted of butter
Cook it on high stirring for about 3 mins and then reduce heat to low and cover for about 15 to 20 mins

My mom made chicken and dumplings this way. When my ex was in the Air Force we lived below poverty level. I used chicken backs for 5 cents a pound and made baking soda biscuits for dumplings. We didn 't always have veggies, but we always had a full tummy!

My first time on your channel and I must say, I like your style. I am a 74-year-old great-grandmother who has been cooking since the age of ten and has been cooking from scratch all my life. Now I'm looking for shortcuts. A friend of my daughters asked if I would make her some chicken-N-dumplings, so I came on KZfaq to find an easier way for the dumplings using biscuits and here you are. Sometimes I use crescent roll dough to make my dumplings and they crazy good! I like to add some English peas to my broth too. Even tried cream of mushroom once and it tasted really good. I had a rotisserie chicken from Sam’s and was searching for a quick, hearty meal for this cold winter NC evening and boom your recipe came up. I used what I had on hand and it came out bomb! I Omitted cream of celery. Seasonings: pepper, poultry seasoning, Lawrys season salt (dash or 2) , onion powder, Kinders carmelized butter. I ate seconds and am stuffed. It was sooooo good😋 Thanks for the inspiration!

Chicken and Dumplings is my favorite, but nobody else in my house eats it. Making it the way you just did, I think I could downsize it to make just enough for myself. Glad Pillsbury makes the smaller cans of biscuits and I can use leftover chicken. I love watching your videos and your recipes are awesome.

Thank you for you great presentation. Mom would make dumpling sometimes with flour, water and baking powder with chopped onion in the dumpling dough covered with butter or margerine. Was always so good. I can taste em now.

I love use rotisserie chicken for lots of recipes. When I have time I pull the chicken off & take the carcass & make broth. I either freeze the broth or use it then. Love the biscuit method. For my C & D I like to sautee onion, celery with a little flour &/or cornstarch then add the liquids. I love lots of seasoning.
