So, you kept the hole as on bottom plate? Am I understanding this correct?

Yes. The hole in the bottom piece will always be there. You never see it while using the lazy susan. Or you could go without a bottom round and just put rubber feet on the hardware.

Thanks, how do you find the center to the lazy susan hardware?

I just do it by eye. Gets you very close.

My Susan didn't work, so I had to fire her lazy self.

Pretty loud I assemble mine with a standard ball bearing much smoother and very quiet

Yeah. This is a Richelieu mechanism. Supposed to be good quality. It was way too loud and was swapped out for a much quieter one.

@@MattMadeIt123 yea I tried most of them even the quality one's are pretty loud I routed a stem and a hollow for a high quality bearing and the difference is night and day I'll upload a quick video for you tomorrow morning and take a look I think you'll find it a game changer

Super smooth and no noise just need a bit of accuracy on the router
