Character Guide PacMan - The Player controls him. Eat all the pills to go to the next level. Blindy - He is blind, so he can't see you. He wanders around the maze, hoping to kill Pac-Man. Screamy - If he sees you, he will dash at you. Avoid this to survive. Slendy - He resembles Slenderman, because of his ability to teleport and his face is sewn up. He will teleport on front of you at times. But, if you look at him for too long, he will get angrier, and then eventually turn into Corrupt. Corrupt - He acts just like Slendy, but he teleports in FRONT OF YOU FREAKING FACE! However, this is the most annoying ghost ever. Old One - Old one can noclip through walls. She will always chase you slowly. ???????? - He destroys the maze, although he is never seen in game. The Devil - He imitates PacMan's moves. A loud sound, which is possibly a distorted version of the sound you hear after eating a ghost in the real PAC-MAN game will play when you are being chased. You will also notice the text saying "RUN". When he touches you, the game will glitch. Level 7 is not a character. Instead, The Player is a ghost. To beat the game, you must kill Pac-Man's lives. And then the game will be completed.

This is one of the rare occasions where an EXE game is actually good.

I love how you can only see pellets you have line of sight with, forcing you to basically wander around like the ghosts do

Oh, what do you know. A ".exe" game with actual gameplay, as opposed to just "Move right and jump sometimes and get jumpscared". .exe games really should have more polish like this one. Let this be an example. (...Also I never understood the whole ".exe" naming scheme. Technically... every single PC game is a ".exe" file, aren't they?)

For those who don't know: Slendy slows down the game, but at later levels, has a rare countdown behavior. Upon this countdown reaching it's limits, it teleports onto Pac-Man and kills them, before popping off. Going meta, the idea is Slendy's mute applied and when it ends, whatever effect was going on occurred until respawn. "Runrun" is, possibly, impossible to escape. Due to doubling in speed, Runrun would become too quick to normally avoid... And when you die, you instead join the ghosts, possibly, or perhaps, if you do eat dots, act as a killable ally. I don't know if it is possible to win with loss of vision and controls.

How to avoid shadow Pac-Man 1: eat all dots, avoiding the big ones 2: then eat the big ones quickly

I find it cool that you can see the names of the ghosts when the level number flickers.

When a fan game is more true to the series then quite a few official titles

At first i thought it would be a crappy game game with a screamer in the end like every .exe but this one is really good and well made. 10/10

For public reference, I'll be explaining all ghosts/entities (I'll explain the level in level 7's case) in order of which they appear. LEVEL 1: Blindy - He moves erratically, as if his eyes were ripped out. Apparently, he has the same AI as Clyde from the original game, as he moves aimlessly, and only catches you on coincidence. Hes one of the two who can be seen with the power pellets. LEVEL 2: Screamy - he'll make a beeline for you and kill you if he’s moving directly at you. However, Screamy doesn’t seem to be constantly looking, rather it’s an erratic and random pattern, much like Blindy. This can be avoided by moving to a different line before he hits you. However, Screamy doesn’t seem to be constantly looking, rather it’s an erratic and random pattern, much like Blindy. He cannot turn corners quick, as he has to pause before he can make the turn. He also can be seen using the power pellets. LEVEL 3: Slendy - It’s not clear if he can kill you or not, but you’re significantly slowed down in his presence. You can only avoid it by going to another line. Unlike the first two, he cannot be seen using the power pellets. nlike the other 3, who creates a static-like ambience when approached, Slendy cuts all audio when in the players line of sight. LEVEL 4: Old One - Cuthulu much? Old One follows you by phasing through walls, however she follows you very slowly. There’s no way to lose Old One, as she’s constantly aware of the players location. She can’t be seen with power pellets, as she turns invisible if far enough away from the player. LEVEL 5: ?????? - I'm not sure wether it's a supposed entity casuing the events in level 5, but if it is, it slowly makes the map deteriorate until all you can do is traverse the dark abyss, hoping you don't get ambushed by a ghost. It can't kill you directly, instead it assists all previously mentioned enemies kill you. In this level, Slendy is capable of killing you by staying in his line of sight. LEVEL 6: RUN - A ghost/shadow pacman appears shortly after you start moving, becoming faster and faster as you collect the dots on the map. It fallows your tracks, eventually becoming faster than you and catching up to you. LEVEL 7: Ending - You go into a 3D 1st person mode of pacman, traversing the maze until you run into Pacman, depleting your lives (that supposedly carry over from level 6) and ending the game alltogether. My theory for this is you become the 'shadow pacman', though if anyone else has any thoughts about it, please let me know. Credits to Asa Gervais, who corrected several things in this, and has more interesting information in their reply below! And that's about it! Hopefully this helps someone.

I really want to see someone speedrun this game. Just imagine it being like a normal creepypasta where a guy finds a haunted pacman game but the twist is the guy is a pacman speedrunner and absolutely wrecks the game.

If anyone wonders what the ghosts do, here it is. Level 1: blindy. Basically Clyde in a way. Level 2: screamy. Charges at you when you are in his line of sight. Level 3: slendy. Basically slenderman. Level 4: old one. Travels through walls in your direction. Level 5: corrupt. Courrupts the level. Level 6: devil/RUN. Chase's you like pac man would.

Most people believe, the EXEs are known as anti pirate versions where the creators who made the franchises wanted to protect their stolen franchises. Or not, who knows?

Theory: this is a hacked game And the pacman you see here is modified and the gray pacman is the real one. He sent his evil ghost at you but when they failed he came and killed you. But now things are different. He is mad and he says run to tell he is the real pacman but RUN RUN RUN is a key everybody in the game is a distorted version of themselves but it pacman exe aka devil he might have been the one to make this the one to punish you for what you done also he later kills your real life self and traps you here forever this is your hell. For some reason i downloaded the exe game and when i ran it it sayed a error and when i clicked on other things like files or softwares or apps it sayed error and when i restarted my computer it was perfectly fine i don't know if maybe its a bug or you need to do something in the games properties but i cant't play pacman.exe on my computer if you had this situation before and you know how to fix it please let me know thank you.
