The sky was dark, my heart was broken, and I was unable to find my way to the light. My friends pulled me out of my train wreck and after many months the fog lifted, the sun still came up, and the birds still sang. It wasn't too late and I've spent my life trying to understand how cruel human beings can be to each other. This song takes me back to 1981 and James Arthur sings it from the heart. Thank you James. So sorry that you weren't able to appear at the Royal Albert Hall when you were supporting Take That a few years ago. We felt your pain.
