And I am a VMIN shipper. A very dedicated one but Jikook is one of the most popular ships in the fandom because of the evidences. At first it's true that it seemed like Jimin was the only one showing his affections towards Jungkook but now days Jungkook is on a roll man. His jealousy shows Everytime Jimin breaths next to another person that isn't Jungkook. And the fond looks he gives Jimin melts my heart. I love all the ships but my favorite is def jikook =) To answer your question about the tension and everything soo in their more debut/rookie days you can tell how much jimin is fond of jungkook he physically says it out loud lol but Jungkook usually always pushes him away (and at times Jungkook even says he knows how much Jimin is fond of him but ignores him because hes shy and not good at expressing his feelings) so thats why alot of ppl say that its one sided or jungkook doesnt like jimin =_= which is not tru lol he does mention a few times that the member that like cares about him the most or he talks to when hes stressed is usually jimin. But over the years you can tell how much closer they are-or in terms of Jungkook like showing his expressions toward jimin more. Especially the past yr till recently theres alot of cute and subtle moments between them and you can tell jungkook is really fond of jimin and pays attention to him alot!! I dont want to go into too much detail because itll get really long but DEF CHECK OUT KOOKMIN WORLD VIDEOS if interested because all of her videos are basically analyzing subtle things which are super interesting!

Jimin is an outstanding contemporary dancer even before joined BTS, and he's a good vocal in the group, Kookie does everything well I guess because he's observational and practise a lot too, that's why I can see how Kookie admires Jimin's body control and rhythm when he dances, also when Jimin turns on his another-level charisma when he performs

basically in the debut days, Jimin was obsessed with Jungkook, Jungkook didn't know how to react back then so he usually pushed him away, but as Jungkook got older, he began to realize that he does like Jimin and they have become a lot closer within the years. Personally I think this is one of the more serious ships and they have a lot of sexual tension but they also have really cute moments. There was one thing that happened on stage and it was just amazing. So on stage, Jungkook came up behind Jimin while he was saying 'I love you' to the crowd and first he (I think) whispered something in Jimin's ear and then the second time Jungkook literally nibbled on Jimin's ear. There has also been lots of evidence of Jimin being in Jungkook's room when cameras aren't and are on. During a Vlive, Taehyung/V went over to Jungkook's room to have him on Vlive. Jungkook said "he wasn't dressed" but he repeatedly said "I'm not ready" or stuff like that to cover up that he was lie hiding someone in his room, which was obviously Jimin. there's a running joke with ARMYs that Jungkook likes to copy everything Jimin does (kind of like what you mentioned, one of them being obsessed with the other) Basically the gist of it is that they're both from the same region in Korea (Busan) but Jimin was born first, so the joke is that Jungkook "copied" being from Busan because he likes Jimin so much. There are a couple other similarities (like dancing, personality) but other than that I'd say Jikook is just another average BTS ship in my opinion, it's just fans that blow things out of proportion as per usual. (sees people getting triggered) A lot of people don't ship jikook. I get it, it may not be your ship, but that doesn't mean you gotta hate it. To me what stands out the most is the subtleness of their moments which makes the ship all the more adorable. As much as I love clips of ships being all handsy, the small glances and the looks of possessiveness makes it seem...idk...a bit more real? (lol yeah I realize that none of the ships are romantically canon, but one can wish) There are better clips out there showing jikook's interactions and I hope you'll react to those. I also recommend reacting to Yoonseok (or Sope). They're also super adorable and hilarious.

I recently joined the BTS' fandom, and recently I heard about 'Jikook' or 'Kookmin'. It's a very controversial shipp and from what I see, more than half the famdom does not like it. And the truth is that I do not understand why. It has a lot of material (and tests). Not to mention that every day more evidence appears. It reminds me a little of Larry with some things, and maybe that's why I took affection of him faster? I do not know. I think the analyzes of this shipp are very objective, and as I said there is a lot of material. What happens is ... Maybe it draws more attention Yoomin or Vkook. I do not get it. I would be happy if Jikook begins to receive the recognition he deserves and begins to be more accepted. Great video!
