Jikook for lifeu! Idk, Vkook seems more brotherly to me, plus I ship VHope lol. Jikook and VHope are my two favorite ships but Jikook is my otp. Oh and based on body language, Jikook seems more like a relationship if you ask me; a lot of their moments are subtle and if you pay attention to them in videos, when there's a cut, they somehow always end up next to each other. They started as friends before BTS debut in 2013, but the affection for each other was there from the start. JM (17 at that time) showed his feelings openly and JK (15 at that time) was still uncertain about his sexuality and feelings, because he had no experience in love whatsoever. JM tried it for two years and in mid 2015, he stepped back. But then JK started to gain courage and stepped towards JM. JM liked it and they started dating in late 2015. They are a happy couple ever since. (side note: watch G.C.F. in Saipan) They even don't care about pda (public display of affection), mostly. JK cares about the cameras. They always flirt with each other in interviews, fan meet ups, on TV shows. The other BTS members often try to stop them or to hide it. But mostly RM just twists his eyes, like "oh my, not again". On one occasion, JK was feeling sick and had a medical treatment. No one, eccept for medics and family/spouses are allowed to be present during the treatment. But guess what: JM was allowed to stay. Another occasion ws quite funny xD At a fan meet up, JM ran around with a big plush Pokéball and threw it at JK. 5 seconds later, he kissed his own hand or JK's neck (his hair covered it, so we can't see). Jin saw that and he dropped his phone in shock xD

to answer your question, jikook is my ult ship and it has been since I joined the fandom. Idk, I just enjoy their dynamics and energy together. they have kinda a love-hate relationship (it used to be more so in the past) and they're always teasing each other (flirting). Their push and pull game is so strong lol. also, one of the things I love about jikook is the tension (not necessarily sexual) between them. I don't feel it between any other ships tbh. Anyways, they just make my heart warm and they also make me feel so.... single lmao
