الطبيعة هي نفسها في شمال فلسطين ولبنان وسورية وبالتالي المنتجات الزراعية هي نفسها من ليمون وزيتون وزيت زيتون وخس وبندورة وعنب وتين الى اخره. وعليه فان المطبخ الفلسطيني واللبناني والسوري متشابه جدا والمكونات مشتركة في مطابخ البحر المتوسط ابتداء من تركيا واليونان وايطاليا واسبانيا ومصر وتونس والمغرب. بالنسبة للزعتر فهو معروف في لبنان وسوريا وفلسطين. الزعتر الفلسطيني يعتمد على ورق الزعتر العريض الذي يجفف ويطحن ويضاف اليه السمسم والسماق والملح وبعض النكهات الاخرى. في لبنان يقطف زهر الزعتر البري عندما يجف ويسمى "الزوباع" ويدق وينخل ويضاف اليه السماق البلدي والملح والسمسم. وفي سوريا الزعتر الجبلي والزعتر الحلبي الذي يسمى "الدقة" وفيه قليل من الزعتر والقليل من السماق والحمص المحمص المطحون والفستق الحلبي والملح والسمسم. سكان لبنان وسوريا وفلسطين والاردن الى الان يخزنون الزيت والزيتون والمكدوس والمربيات والجبن الابيض والحبوب البقولية والبرغل والكشك. وتطلق كنية البلد على المنتج الزراعي من هذه المنطقة او تلك: برتقال يافاوي، فستق حلبي، مشمش حموي وعجمي وام حسين ذو الخد الاحمر ، بطيخ عدلوني ودراق بكفيا وجبنة نابلسية وزيتون وزيت الكورة ولا ننسى صابون الغار من حلب والصابون النابلسي والبلدي من الكورة في لبنان. الجغرافيا واحدة والاسماء والحدود المجهولة قسمت الاصقاع.

هناك 5 نسخات لتاريخ لبنان- كل واحدة منهم بحسب ميول مروّجها العقائدية ... هناك السوري القومي الذي يعطي امجاد لبنان التاريخية لسوريا وللسوريين .. هناك الشيوعي اليساري الذي يعتبر اصلا ان اللبنانيين لا تاريخ لهم ويقرر فجأة ان الفلسطة هم الكنعانيين وان كل التاريخ الفينيقي انطلق من " فلسطين " وهناك العروبي الذي يعتبر ان الكنعانيين هم العرب وان اصولهم عربية من شبه الجزيرة العربية واليوم ظهرت مجموعة تسوق لتاريخ لبنان من منطلق ديني معتبرين ان اللبنانيين الموارنة هم سريان وان كل حضارة لبنان القديمة مي بالاصل سريانية ززز كل هذه المجموعات تحاول بكل ما استطاعت تزوير تاريخ لبنان .. لذلك لا تراها تقدم اي دليل علمي بل وممكن ان يتكلم المؤرخ المزعوم ساعات محللا ولكن بدون ذكر مرجع علمي واحد .. هذا المدعي شارل سمعته يتكلم عن تاريخ لبنان الفينيقي الكنعاني وكان يسخر منه محاولا جاهدا اعتباره تاريخ جامع للسوريين والفلسطينين واللبنانيين .. جامعا التناقضات الثلاث .. متجاهلا التاريخ الذي حارب فيه الكنعانيون الفينيقيون الفلسطة حين حاول هؤلاء الدخول الى صيدا ومتجاهلا 300 سنة حرب مع اجداد السورييين وعلاقة متوترة مع السوريين منذ 3000 سنة ..

في زمن الفساد - الاعلام هو صورة هذا الفساد .... هذا المدعي بالتاريح شارل هو شيوعي يسساري عروبي - يكتب التاريخ ليتناسب مع عقيدته العدائية لتاريخ لبنان القديم والمعاصر .. ابشع ما في هذا الاعلام انه يعطي منبرا لمن يتناسب مع فكره العقائدي .. الال بي سي - كانت اول قناة تتهم كل لبناني يطالب باغلاق الحدود امام اللاجئين السوريين بالعنصريية حتى وصلنا اليوم الى هجرة 200 الف لبناني باقل من سنة وعدم قدرة الامن العام من توفير الاعداد الهائلة لطلبات جوازات السفر للبنانيين

المذيع : المطبخ اللبناني الضيف : الشرف الاوسط ... لانو قومي سوري , يريد اعطاء المطيخ اللبناني هوية تشمل السوريين والفلسطينيين هذا اوسخ تزييف للتاريخ .. 1- اول ذكر للخبز يرجع لسانخوني اتون وهو فينيقي ابن بيروت اذا هو لبناني كنعاني وليس شرق اوسطي 2- النبيذ اكتشاف فينيقي لبناني ., بداية من باخوس اله الخمر .. وباخوس عائلة لبنانية ما زالت تختفظ بهذا الاسم الكنعاني الى يومنا هذا ... لاحظوا انه يتجنب تحديد لبنان في الاكتشافات لان هذا لا يتناسب مع عقيدته السورية القومية .. اكبر منافقق سميه روائي سميه قصصي ولكن لا علاقة له بالمؤرخين

ZA'ATAR IS PALESTINIAN! الزعتر من فلسطين 🇵🇸 Zaatar originated in Palestine and after the Nakba in 1948, the Palestinian refugees were forced to immigrate to Jordan, Syria, Kuwait, and other neighboring countries and took their cuisine and culture with them. They were also forced to immigrate to Lebanon and established one of the first Palestinian refugee camps in 1948 called Tel Az Za'atar (The Hill of Zaatar) مخيم تل الزعتر because Zaatar is not just food for us, it was and it is STILL part of our identity. It was the Palestinian refugee farmers who taught the Lebanese farmers what zaatar is in the first place and the Palestinians taught them the skills of how to plant and cultivate the zaatar. Manakeesh is just one recipe that Palestinians make with zaatar. It's funny how the Lebanese people keep talking and even obsessing about manakeesh because they don't know what else to do with zaatar. I see this all over social media. We Palestinians have many recipes we make with dry and fresh zaatar. We also drink and make tea out of fresh zaatar. Zeit (olive oil) and zaatar with taboon bread and other types of bread is probably one of if not the most famous meals that we eat especially for breakfast and even during the day. The fact that this historian wants to claim za'atar as "Lebanese" is embarrassing for him and anyone else who wants to believe his story. If it wasn't for the Palestinian refugees in 1948, the Lebanese people wouldn't have known what Za'atar, freekeh, falafel, knafeh, etc and other dishes they like to claim are. In the 70's Palestinian refugee camp , Tel Az Zaatar was destroyed by the Lebanese Phalangists. They committed a horrible massacre against the Palestinian refugees and now Lebanese people arrogantly want to claim Zaatar and manakeesh as their own. You can only fool ignorant people who don't want to read and learn about the truth. History will never change no matter how many modern imperialistic countries want it to. How quickly the Lebanese people forgot. But we didn't and we won't especially while the Zionists continue to ethnically cleanse us of our lands and culture while the rest of the world watches and does nothing. Palestine is much older than the modern state of "Lebanon" that was created by France. Palestine is well known, famous, and is synonymous with Olive oil and Za'atar. الزعتر من فلسطين

Can you imagine if they were talking about where the origin of the dabke (PALESTINE) and other "Lebanese" folklore songs came from, how my response would also be? If you had even read my post carefully, your response would have at least been thoughtful and intelligent. I'm not surprised considering what history unfortunately has already taught us. But I will remind you that in my post , I wrote that the Palestinian refugees taught the Lebanese farmers what zaatar is in the first place and the skill of how to plant and cultivate it. By the way the Lebanese mountainous area you just referred to was part of historic Syria. And the southern part of modern Lebanon was part of historic Palestine. Historic Palestine & Syria were part of Bilad Ash Sham. Lebanon and Jordan are modern states built in Palestine and Syria with the help of foreign colonialists and imperialists. Try not to lose any sleep tonight.

Anyone from the older generation will tell you that their parents used to eat zaatar w zet in their childhood and their parents before them, my grandparents as an example, and that is way before 1948.

@@tinanemer8206 My post has nothing to do with hatred and superiority and everything to do with facts and people who want to erase our history and appropriate our culture. A culture that was shared by all of us once upon a time and now is being labeled as only "Lebanese." I bet your grandparents and great grandparents that were eating zaatar and zait were probably Palestinian or Syrian lol. I don't care what you want to call yourself now. I don't care if your Lebanese or not. Just do not deny history whether good or bad and acknowledge the entire people of Bilad Ash Sham and our entire history. If a so called historian or any other person can not tell the truth about food then what else is he or she not telling the truth about? How will we ever heal as the people of Bilad Ash Sham whether we are Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrian, or Jordanian if we don't talk about what really happened in the past and what Palestinians are still going through, what Syrians are going through? Even in Lebanon, people are suffering. Why? Let's talk about this instead of creating fairy tale scenarios that are not going to change our countries for the better.

الاكل اللبناني اصله من اكل فلسطيني و اكل سوري و اصل الزعتر من فلسطين. Just because the modern Lebanese people have identity issues, this does not mean they get to claim the entire cuisine of Bilad Ash Sham as Lebanese تاريخ فلسطين و سوريا اقدم من دولة "لبنان" الي بتكون اختراع فرنسا.

Dear Nome Yah, I feel that (if not mistaken) with your approach or with your historical explanation you are trying to build a "Palestinian nationalism" vs "Lebanese Nationalism" in a narrow way. Claiming that many of the Lebanese food or the Levant region foods as "Palestinian" is the same like some Lebanese fanatics do in this issue. The truth is that all the foods of the Levant countries share similar ingredients and dishes but also differ from each other in the way of cooking or in other ingredients. So now we have the Lebanese Cuisine, Palestinian Cuisine, Syrian Cuisine etc. The Lebanese are clever in diversifying their cuisine and developing it and marketing it internationally in a way that now it became famous and most of our Palestinian, Syrian, Jordanian brothers and sisters praise it and love it and say that it is the best in the area. So no need to complicate the issue and make it a reason to divide or produce hatred.

@the recent comment. First off, thank you for at least responding with some class. When some ignorant people feel intimidated and challenged with the truth and don't know how to respond like a few here, they curse and resort to using foul language. I don't agree with you but I still wanted to acknowledge this. I'm not a Nationalist nor do I have an interest in it. And I'm certainly not a fanatic .There is a difference between an indigenous Palestinian and a modern Lebanese citizen. Don't confuse the two. I'm simply a truth teller who loves history and doesn't appreciate any so called historian who twists and distorts the truth and the past. Since you brought up Jordanian cuisine, it's mostly Palestinian if not all of it. Modern Jordan was created in historic Palestine by colonial and western powers. Pretty much the same way modern Lebanon was created. The majority of modern "Jordanians" are actually Palestinian or of Palestinian decent. How can a country or a people heal when history is continuously denied and ignored? It's like most Lebanese people (not all) have amnesia and selective memory and pick and choose what suits them and what they want to believe. With all due respect, I don't know if you are in denial or live in a fantasy world. Your amazing idea of Lebanese people diversifying and marketing our cuisine sounds like the "Israeli"/ Zionist one. It's cultural appropriation. I have Syrian friends and our feelings are mutual. And for you to make it look like we Palestinians and Syrians are grateful for how you "cleverly" marketed our cuisine as ONLY " Lebanese" , for you to think you did us a big favor and how we all think "yours" is the best tells me you are unrealistic and have no idea what ethnic cleansing means and how other people profit and take advantage of it. You can read my other post on another thread on this page. Maybe it will somehow help you understand what this all means. My feelings are valid and don't come from a place of hatred. The word hatred that you and many use is a word that people throw at the victim when the victim calls and asks for justice. Maybe if Palestinians weren't fighting a military occupation war for over 76 years controlled by the Zionists with the help of our "neighbors" we would have had plenty of time to diversify and market our own cuisine. When your censored by the Zionist media, it's becomes difficult to tell your own story and be in charge of your Palestinian narrative. It has been easier and more comfortable for the Zionists in the west to accept the Lebanese and even Jordanian narrative while they continue to steal everything Palestinian. The concept and reality of DIVIDE AND CONQUER has really worked out for you guys. It would have been nice had you people at least acknowledged and respected us while you all were out there "diversifying" and "marketing" our cuisine. It's called solidarity and unity, Smh. Your ancestors were either Palestinians or Syrians. Ahal Bilad Asham. I've already stated twice and I'll state it again. I don't care if you want to call yourself Lebanese or if you want to live in a country called Lebanon. Just do not deny history and the past. Give credit where credit is due. A little respect goes a long way.
