The Lowland and Border Pipers’ Society held their annual collogue and concert at the Royal George Hotel in Perth on the 8th of October, 2022. After a talk on the history of Toun Pipers in Perth by LBPS convenor Stuart Letford, Pipe Major Alistair Duthie, Piper to The City of Perth, gave a short talk on the modern role of a Toun Piper, followed by some music on the Great Highland Bagpipe.
