This #SaturdaySession with Conor will cover DNA Structure, Replication & Profiling and Protein Synthesis. Throughout the session Conor will give an overview of the structure of DNA and RNA. He will also detail how DNA is replicated and how DNA profiling can be applied to forensic and medical uses. The role of RNA, and specifically mRNA, tRNA and rRNA, will be outlined in the process of protein synthesis. As this is a common exam topic to appear, detailed answers will be given to selected exam questions that have come up.
