LC passed away this past summer. His Granddaughter took over the business and revamped the place. New Smokers -the whole works. Haven't been there since he passed but I am going to try the Granddaughter's bbq

L C was a great guy , we sold his sauce at our families store in Harrisonville , and I loved his bbq , great brisket and fries , the ribs are killer , but be careful the floor is slick with bbq sauce , it's some of the best in Kansas City , try Joe's brisket at what use to be called Oklahoma Joe's that's some of the great brisket , but try L C's and get the fries

We visited Kansas City a few days ago. We came to LCs. The food was GREAT!!! those burnt ends were something serious.

I miss LC use to fish with him once in a while. Remember driving by early pre mornings and seeing his truck and the smoker going. Once in a while I would be in there and he would be in the shits and I would help him prep. You can not replace these old pit masters and you know heaven will smell of BBQ
