Can lack of sunlight can affect your mood and wellbeing? That's a good topic for this year's Leaving Cert Computer Science Coursework.
- Do I have to use an external sensor?
You can of course use the internal light sensor. I'm showing an external analogue sensor here because if you can use that, you can substitute it with any other sensor eg. sound, temperature, magnetometer, flex sensor.
- Analogue Sensor to Micro:bit
- Micro:bit Serial Graph
- Micro:bit Serial to USB
- Thonny Simple Read from Serial USB
- Removing junk data & validation
- Saving to CSV
- Graphing in Matplotlib
- Prediction using numpy

ohhh, the ser.port thing will only send back data when the .hex is loaded in. i was confused and thought my one was broke. also, it's a whole different thing on linux so i had to use chatgpt for that

Hi Danny, whenever i run the first block of code you put it, i get an error saying: ser = serial.Serial() AttributeError: module 'serial' has no attribute'Serial' Do you know how i could fix this?

Uninstall and reinstall serial

Unistall serial module if you installed it, it will use the pyserial built in module by default
