I 'm diagnosed this year. August 10th 2020. At the age of 47. They found the LCH in my ear bone and spyne. It started as chronic ear and mastoid infection in 2019.

I was diagnosed with LCH. However for years I've been dealing with issues. Every doctor has told me something different over the years finally on December 2022 I was told I have LCH and in Wisconsin doctor's have no clue on how to treat this. I've been doing my research and really no set treatment. This is painful because I get episodes of lung mulfunction where my heart feels as it deflate and my heart flutters . Once I get over an episode I'm ok when I go to the ER they say that they don't see anything concerning but when I get a CT done it shows my lungs are wearing out. Prior to the lungs I've had a lot of unexplained rashes which where treated for allergies then it was my pancreas which is treated for IBS but after they realized I have LCH many years went by why is it hard to diagnose early on?

I have been told that I might have LCH by an oral pathologist. Does this disease generally occur in the bone above the gumb?

I was diagnosed with LCH in 2014, and still having problems to find the right doctor. I live in the Netherlands and I hope someone got answers for me, how to find the right treatment.

yes i know. and i hate 2 think of a lttle baby or child with this disease. as much as i hate that adults have it too. all around one day i hope this illness is taken MORE SERIOUS... and serious in very small towns and citys where dr.s do not know all the info. & there coulds only b one person that they see with LCH and do not apply the newest info. about LCH

plus the dr. says that the second 'groups only occurs in infants. thats not a fact! it occurs in adults too!
